I love this video because nobody talks. Ever notice how folks get way to chatty on CZcams videos. They never shut up. And they take forever. This is quick and quiet. Thank you!

Hands down the best looking china cabinet makeover on CZcams! I know it's 'trendy' to live in a gray & white house, but color is SO much better! (Gray & white was boring for TV shows, too; that's why the industry went to 'in living color'.)

Great finish but wouldn't painting it the desired color and then using dark wax less work and more control on shading. Doing a clear coat of wax on whole piece, highlight with dark wax and another clear coat. I however did like that you didn't bother painting it solid and just blended.
Those are two completely different looks. Layering colors and Dark Wax give you two very different results! If you have never tried it I would suggest trying out and seeing the difference for yourself. I have many pictures on my instagram of both where you can see the results aren't the same!

Your mixing of colors reminds me of my ability to play my piano by ear. I'm not sure where it comes from, but I put my hands on the keyboard and think of a song, and my fingers just start playing. You just mix these colors fearlessly (obviously you were a paint major) but your blending, detailing, everything is just a work or art like "playing by ear." How much would you price that buffet for in your market area and what is the general area that you work in?

The colors work realy well together. Love it. Since I am renovating parts of my flat I am trying this on a giant oak monstrosity of cabinet wall, a dresser and a wardrobe. I am realy excited to buy the colors tomorrow and get starting. Already cleaned everything and preped it. Not sure how the colors will turn out since Rustoleum (that's what my hardware store is selling) doesn't have that jade-turquiose-green. But the theme will be this grey-turquoise with gold or brass elements. Watched a lot of your videos so thank you in advance :)

I really like the look but as a guy who works with wood and appreciates the wood grain in pieces like this it's hard for me to think about covering it up but u did a great job and I do really like it.
