Deepest condolences to the friends and family of this young man. Amazing video; incredible skill and courage on both his part and the camera guy. Family said that he told them that he had just had one of the "best days of his life" seeing the northern lights in Iceland. He sadly died in a plane crash with several others. The plane went down in a lake in Iceland. May your next life be filled with love and adventure. A charity is being set up in his name, to help several causes that he was passionate about. Growing up I would have had to run into and read about something like this in a magazine and then just look at a still pic and probably would have not really understood the scope or magnitude of such a feet that this seems to be to me. Really glad I came across this feed and actually watched. Nice video.

Just want to point out that wearing a closed helmet helps breathing which in turn makes the speed trivial. Not saying it doesn't require skills. But at that speed with nose exposed, air is sucked out of your lung, heart naturally beating faster and lack of oxygen creats panic. Riding a motorbike with helmet at 50mph doesn't feel fast but with face mask open it just feels so much faster

The only thing between you and death(or severe injury) is a plank of wood, two trucks and four wheels. I've never felt a rush even remotely close to bombing a huge hill in my life. You give me the same vibes as I got watching Alexander Polli wingsuit through a hole in a mountain... I felt the extreme awe of his impressive skill and courage whilst simultaneously knowing I'd be reading about his untimely death in a year or two. And i was proven correct. I mean, there's skill and bravery... and then there's recklessness with your life and with the lives of others. If you splat into a motorist's car you will wreck their life as well as yours.
The way he handles bumps is very impressive. Especially the one at 2:13. The bump or drop in the roads heght at that speed is very nice handling and technique. You can tell he prepares for it in advance. It must come from much experience.
