This just proves that supporting local business is so essential. They always come up with the goods 👏🏼👏🏼 well done lads
Truth!
@@valenciawhaley9256 Too bad none of the small business loan money never went to these local and small businesses.

When you have great quality, and service level to offer. You don't have to worry because you will always have loyal customers. I personally prefer to buy something from my local small businesses.
The first time i seen them serious and am glad they doing well.
Please look out for your community, friends, family and anyone out there, stay safe and hope the best for everyones safety.
As a business owner, keeping your doors open means you're keeping jobs going, you're offering a little something that helps ppl get through this tough times, one way or another. Respect to Ben and Brent for playing their part.
Nah man you're just a greedy capitalists who only takes from others, profit is theft! (Just kidding man, keep it up.)
The Lewis haha I bet there’s so many people who think that way now though. But they don’t eat meat anyway haha
I was wondering how they were doing, and I'm so glad that Prime Time is making it work in this storm of uncertainty.
Stop buying stuff dude... quit stocking up y'all just throwing away your government money
right? glad to see their idea and strive turn out so fortunate for them when things went.
That truck purchase especially was one heck of a turn over.
Dude, I’m glad that during a Pandemic you’re worried about how the Meat Shop Guys are doing in the “Storm of Uncertainty”. LOL 🤦🏼

Seriously so proud to call this place my butcher shop. 10/10 every damn time.

I've always been a fan of you guys. Seeing this vid and your the desire to help the community makes you guys more amazing! As a physician i understand that feeling of dread whenever you go to work.. but you go anyway because people need you.
Cheers guys, keep safe!
Thank you to all of you guys, stay safe, wear a mask and practice social distancing. :)
So heartwarming to hear that amount of pride the owners have for their team and their community. Really shows a lot of character.
Such a great reminder of the uncertainty and disruption faced by all of us, but particularly those in NYC, no one knew what the next day would bring, and how amazing and wonderful that a shop such as yours did what it did.
Great to hear all of your team are doing well! Love the channel!
I’m a 20+ year butcher from Australia, you do things different but it’s great!
Shop looks awesome, keep up the great work and stay well!
Omg. Thank God you guys around. Hope you guys, workers and families are well.
Stay safe. 🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹
So glad you guys manage to get thru this tough situation while sustaining (+ creating!) jobs and serving your community! Proud of you guys and stay safe!
Watch religiously to each video with these two and the team here in NZ very happy to see them surviving this current climate. Keep up the good work.
I was so happy to see prime time was back, honestly thought about you guys... your safety, and your business a few times since March and I don't even live in the US.
Seeing that the Meat Hook actually grew from this bring me a lot of joy, glad that you were able to still feed people and keep your employees. I should have checked your socials earlier :/ but it was crazy times for all of us.
Wherever you are, support local businesses!
You guys are the absolute best. So humble and caring for yourselves, your staff, and your community.
I have been following these two guys for a couple of years now and totally respected them for their knowledge and passion of all things meat. When I saw this video here I was excited to see them again as I had not seen them in a while, while watching this video I realized why! Their passion show even more here and yes they are making good money but that is not their driving force behind all the hard work. These two guys know and respect their responsibility to support their employees their suppliers and most of all their community. My respect for you guys has grown exponentially. Keep up the great work and Godspeed.
My favorite episode so far with you guys. I felt a realness and educational vibe from this episode that I haven't seen before. Usually it has a gimmicky-ness to it, whereas this was a glimpse into what it takes for you two to run a butcher shop in a city during a pandemic. Eye opener. Having been in the restaurant biz for over half my life, I really enjoyed this. Thanks and stay safe! Feed the MASSES!!!
Happy to see you guys thriving through these difficult times. Say healthy, safe, and try not to stress too much.
Miss your episodes so much but it's good to know that you guys are safe and sound.
I LOVE the sanitation and ethics of the butcher shop!
I really enjoy the episodes, which feature the Meat Hook. I'm glad things have worked out for you guys, and your staff.
you are inspiring, as owners, as a company, as a team! thank you for letting us watch you on your journey! 🙏
Great to hear y'all are doing well and that you're also able to help restaurants and other establishments aside from the consumers. Love watching videos y'all put out.
Glad to see the shop, the staff and yourselves are doing well. Stay safe!
Have always loved watching your Prime Time videos and am so happy to see you are able to provide, thrive and grow. I'm sure it's not been easy, but thanks for stepping up.
I’ve started a butchery apprenticeship because of these guys. Bloody love it!
Happy to see they’re doing okay!! All the love!!
These guys were amazing before the world stopped and I glad to say that you are f****ng awesome! The world needs more people like you!
You guys are a model for others to follow in changing your business model during these times. 👍👏
I'm glad they were able to rise and *meat* expectations!

Love, love, love your channel, and torturing you back with serial bad jokes in my comments.
Sorry-not-sorry,
and totally unrepentant! 😎
Need more puns for your vlog?
Just google "clean silly jokes", and pick a few about 3 pounds of beef, 2 different marinades and 1 dry rub to make beef jerky? Whatever the dish.
Hehehe... we're watching you... 😂🤣😅😂😁
Funny story. Yesterday, called to see when my sewing machine was out of the shop. Today, to start making masks with the help of
Fabricpatch.net's design. You likely noticed the link in one of my comments. If you get a few minutes, please go to their website, watch a few and tell as many people that you can?
You will understand why I recommend her particular mask, designed by an ARNP of 24 years and a laid-off Engineer (C19). His name is Jesse; this it is called the Jesse Mask.
They made over 167,000 masks. Not a typo, soliciting daily input from Hospitals, Fire, Police, Nursing homes, Medical Staff since January (?).
Uh-huh! I got this. Booyahhh.
I rock, my story, sticking to it.
😪😫😪😉🤗😉
Otherwise, you'll have to keep putting up with me, lol.
💕🤪💕
Was talking to the company about when I can get my sewing machine back, etc., and struck up a short convo about food. Your channel was the first one out of my mouth. Told her to grab a post-it and take notes.
I also sub to ATK (Americas/n Test Kitchen), Condè Nast which also owns, inter alia, BA (Bon Appetit), The NY Times food channel, and so many more.
She likened you to your female counterpart, "Binging With Babish(ch?)"
Haven't looked at it, but let the puns begin, right?
Love, love, love you, and am continually trying to promote your channel.
In the meantime, let the puns begin... 😉
Oopsthhh. Evidently Babish is a male.
My bad!
You are such a spaz, and we love you for it!
BTW, great recipes.
Sooo, the cat goes poop in the box, kneads it with their paws, gets it between their toes, then climbs up onto the kitchen counter WITH fecal contamination on their paws?
Sorry-not-sorry, sweetheart.
TOTALLY GROSS, MAKES US GAG, and you're cooking with cat poop airborne particles all around?
Er, uh... HUH?

So happy for the guys they smashed it and unexpectedly grew the scope of the business.
Thank you for consistently setting the bar, across the board!
Glad to see you guys are well and thriving. Was worried we’d not heard from you so stoked it’s because the business is going strong. Look forward to more content from you both in the future
Like many, I was a fan because of CZcams, but the way you have reacted to the change in the food industry is beyond fantastic. I only wish you were in my area.
Best thing I've watched in 2020. You guys are amazing!
I love you guys you have done and taught and have chosen to continue. Thanks to you thanks giving, Christmas and new years will be forever thankful to you. And I hope you guys keep doing the best you can.
Glad to see you guys are still here. Hope to see more of you guys back at it again once this all dies down.
This is like visiting old friends and feel glad that you guys still can make it work
Wow, guys, I'm so glad you've managed to turn this challenge into something positive. Keep doing what you're doing! Stay safe!
That’s awesome! Keeping food on your communities tables is important, I missed you guys! Keep it up!
Keep it up guys! I have been a fan of your shows for a quite while now and its very different to see you guys fron being happy and laughing in the beefcetta episode to really showing the hardships you guys are facing during this period.
Stay strong and healthy .

As a butchers kid from Brooklyn, I retained a few bad skills, but still I know them. Brings me back. Thanks for supporting your neighborhood!
I hope it goes back to local shoppes like yours. Our food system needs a major overhaul, everybody should know where their food literally comes from!!!! Congratulations 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
From Québec for the chicken, a high quality meat packer that controls their product from the egg to the abattoir.
I'm very happy to see that you guys are doing so good with everything going on!
Congrats on taking over the marketplace. Shows that hustle can make you critical to your customers wants and needs. Been a fan for a long time.
So happy you chaps and the store and staff took on the challenge and your doing fine.
Nothing but love for these guys
I’m a butcher, that was crazy when the pandemic hit.
HI, I'm a portuguese guy, and I have been watching your videos for about two years now and you guys are so inspiring!! You guys aren't the average American, the one that the rest of the world finds annoying. You guys are awesome Keep up the great work!! Thank you so much!! I hope you can come throughout this even stronger than you were!!
Thanks for what you're doing guys !
Really glad to see you guys making it!

Love your story, shop, and the whole team.
WoW, I love hearing about NY business' that are still going strong during this pandemic. As NYer's we can truly roll with the punches. Thanks to the owners of that meat market for doing such great work.👍👍
So glad to see that you are alive and kicking. Creating an example in Brooklyn!
Happy to see you guys are doing well
I’m glad to see Brent and Ben back on here. Glad to see they’re coping with the covid
Finally more Brent and Ben. I’ve been waiting.

Way to go Brent and Ben! Glad you’re doing well and taking care of all!
Glad to see the boys doing well and doing good.
Glad to see these guys and their business doing well.
Glad to see the guys and their team is doing well through this mess!
You are an amazing group of people! I really wish we had a butchers shop in my community. All we have is Walmart and Safeway's and you can never find good meat anymore.
I know what you mean, we have a fresh market (like whole foods, but bougier) and that's better than safeway, but not much
i love these guys. they are people to look up to. they have a gift for leading
love to see small businesses kick ass in these tough times..
So glad you all are doing well.
When I can come from New Zealand to New York I'm getting a burger at the brewery.
Great to see us people who come from places with New in the name are doing it right.
This was a great show about real people and there real life. Everyone loves this type of content. Thanks.
glad to see you guys back
It’s awesome to see a business prospering through these tough times
Need to see more of these guys and their work!
Love to see this. True American spirit here. Adapting to the changing world and creating oppertunities for others. Im glad as a society we aren’t cowering in our homes. Staying locked up for something we dont know will go away is horrible for the economy, physical health and mental health. Love it.
I miss seeing your shows. When I am in Brooklyn, I will stop by for some butchered meat. Best wishes from California.
Glad to see the meat hook and team are still up and running 👍
I run 2nd oldest pizzeria in the country and we have been working straight thru it’s tuff to balance everything but the community needs us
I hope congress sees the small essential workers and gives them something as a thank you for keeping the country going
Good job everyone at the meat hook you all have such good people.
Just want to say I’m from North Dakota my family raises beef cattle never have I had a desire to go to New York until I stared watching your channel now I want to come just to meet you guys and come to your shop!
If i could like this video more than once then I would. Keep up the awesome work guys!!
Glad to see you guys are doing well!!
I watch every episode of PRIME TIME, we need more of this!
I work in a whole animal butcher shop and I'm loving it so much, especially since we started receiving whole pigs. I wasn't even a butcher when I applied but I've been working in the meat business since I was 16 so they put me right on the deboning and bandsaw work.
Hey, great video. I own a shop in Southern Utah called Dixie meats. Same story, take care of the community. We also had a great team. Good luck
Shout to my fellow Utahns. I know it's still crazy up north with just getting the beef to the smaller shops.
My family is in the same boat! From Vancouver Canada area. Been absolutely crazy but a great team stepped up and we’ve been able to keep the community well fed!
I was hoping it was these guys and I'm so glad the boys are thriving.
What you are doing is amazing! 🙏
I'm glad these guys have been doing well in the pandemic!
Well this is the earliest I’ve ever been for a video 😯
Go you guys! Quality always shines through.
Glad to see that they are a safe operation and keeping their staff working
I live on an island in the PNW...we have about twelve restaurantsthree of our restaurants have added mercantile to their stores and its wildly popular. Amazing adaptation.
Excellent! I feel proud of your efforts for the community.
Just finished all seasons. This is a great f-ing show!
I enjoy how Ben and Brent transitioned from being hosts of Prime Time to now being so busy with their butchery that a documentary is made about the meat hook. Stay strong buddies. Love what you're doing.
At the 5:10 mark, you can see a bag of what looks like Humphrey lump charcoal on the upper shelf... That product is manufactured 15 minutes down the road from me in Brookville PA! Love that charcoal!
Glad to see you guys doing good.
I'm immeasurably glad they're making it work in this absolutely inhumane and chaotic climate, and I hope this ramps up the movement of legit homegrown butcher shops like this in the area that used to exist at the turn of the last century and lasted into the middle of it.
My own experience with the industry is not even of my own, but of my fathers. He stated he helped open a few of them in his late teens into late twenties, before moving onto the next shop once he felt they were successful. He left because the cold from the freezers was making him ill, shortly after he went into the TLC business before settling on becoming a fine metals smith.
He skipped being a Baker and refined the Candle-making into the Lost Wax method, basically.
People need this service though, and I'm glad it still around and is improving on the daily.
Really proud of you guys!
I'm glad to see you are doing well! I hope we can see more content in the future.
Love you, boys! Keep truckin!
