Influential hard rock legend, reality TV star, Broadway alumni, horror movie director, radio host - Dee Snider, the face and voice of the legendary Twisted Sister, has a career many would kill for. And yet the singer`s thirst is far from being quenched - his thirst for METAL! Dee Snider hasinked a deal with Napalm Records for his upcoming solo album For The Love Of Metal produced by Hatebreed vocalist Jamey Jasta and featuring contributions from Howard Jones (ex-Killswitch Engage), Mark Morton (Lamb Of God), Alissa White-Gluz (Arch Enemy), Joel Grind and Nick Bellmore (Toxic Holocaust) and Charlie Bellmore (Kingdom Of Sorrow).
Snider comments about For The Love Of Metal: "This is a really incredibly exciting album that I did not expect to make, especially at this point in my life. I met Dee once at the bookstore I work at in NYC. I tapped him on the shoulder and said 'Hey Man, I saw you open for Iron Maiden when I was 14." He looked me up and down quickly and said "Looks like you turned out OK."

I don’t understand why anybody would put this down. It’s not like it’s my favorite song but check out the shape he is in and how committed he is to songwriting and Music! Twisted Sister in my opinion got a raw deal. They were taken advantage of like minivans. D has a great voice and at his age he does not falter! I respect him and I really like what he’s doing!

Man Dee is still rocking hard! I didn't even know this came out, but I'm glad I do now! For him to still have a clear, loud, raspy rock voice through the years of touring is incredible and his positive lyrics and positive interviews continue to bring him credit. What an absolute rock king!

Best rock album in what 10 years. Great guitar, great vocals. Just bought the whole thing yesterday. I have not had a metal album that you can bang your head and sing the vocals to in a long time. Usually you get one or the other.

Good for the fans New/old that recognize how incredible this is for Dee to come out swinging. Might be an 80’s legend but took the 70’s sold out shows in the tri-state area that nobody knew??! His voice is just as great, positive is good that’s Dee, but go watch his movie Strangeland if you want darkness. While a lot of great artist are leaving us, I am truly thankful for this. Dee has done it all including fighting in court for this music. Respect due brotha’ 🤘🏻!
