Jasta actually proposed this kind of recording to Snider, because he's a big fan of him... and Dee is still awesome as a vocalist. Snider sounds way better with metal music than with glam metal music.

Im 53 been working since i was 14 listening to metal since i was 9 every year getting into the heaviest at the time working. 7 day swing shift for 21 yrs now love the new dee snider record i bought it on vinyl and recorded to blank cd i like the fact that its awsome and it doesn't sound like twisted sister just listened to ts live at the marque 1983 yesterday

I am stuck on this song. I just lost my sister Sgt. Holli Bolinski last Tuesday in a vehicle accident in Kuwait while on duty with the Army Reserves. The words to this song is everything she ever personified while in the military and at home in her personal life. I want to thank Dee Snider, Jamey Jasta and the rest of the crew for writing this song...its the one song that has been helping me get through the pain and loss of a sibling who proudly served her country to protect her family and the rest of the United States. Again, thank you to who all were involved in the creation of this song and album...its a small reprieve during a time of sadness and loss of an extraordinary woman that I was lucky enough to have called my sister.
