I remember being a child when this came out &It always made me cry. Although I’m a boy the words are still true. Raised by a single father who still til this day works 7 days a week , every week to make sure himself &my little sister are ok & never have to worry about anything. Always there no matter what. &no matter how hard anything ever got he never gave up &never turned his back on any of us. Now I’m 28 with 2 children of my own &am doing everything I can to be as good of a father he is

Ever since I heard this song from the movie when I watched it with my son when he was little, it stuck in my head as the perfect song to dance with my Dad at my wedding. But you have to find someone who'd want to marry you first for that to happen lol. I've been single for so long because I just wanted to focus on raising my son. Well now he's 21 and I'm still alone. Hopefully I'll be able to meet someone before he's no longer around to walk me down the aisle and we'll be able to have that dance. One of my biggest fears is that he won't be around to see it. Dad joined, and swore he joined the navy, he was going to get his older bro out of that prison camp, which was behind a body of water, and hard to reach." He did to Peter and dad came home to raise big families. I have six bros, and I told them dad talked about the war and they called me a fibber, but he did. They all tried to get him to talk about it, and he wouldn't just turn,and walk away. He was 65 when he finally talked and dad's heart was so soft he never laid a hand on us kids. He saw so much violence during the war he couldn't be mean. I miss him he's been gone awhile now. He was a hero to all us kids!😎😇🙏🙏🎶🎶✌🏼✌🏼👏💥👌🗽🇺🇸
