I’m thinking that Himalayan people might be Nepali people

Sichuan peppercorns are part of Native Tibetan cuisine and have been for a long time, they are native to the region and in Nepal as well. In Tibetan it is called Ehma. Of course Indian and Chinese cuisine has influenced Tibetan cuisine and from that Tibetan food has gotten spicier. Tibetan food already shared a lot of things with Sichuan food and there is a overlap between the two cultures, due to historical and geographical reasons, but Tibetan food is likely more influenced by Sichuan food recently

I actually did not know this about sichuan peppercorn, thanks for informing me! I hope I did not misrepresent Tibetan food by giving too much credit to the cultures around it, was not my intention! Tibetan food and culture are vibrant and recognizable on it's own, and has been one of my favorite cuisines since I had shapale as a child

I’ve been looking forward to getting back into Jackson Heights, and along with Woodside, it’s a big fun food tour.

First of all! Naq my brother. Tibet was and will never be a part of China!!! China colonized Tibet, you got to do some research.
