  • In this video we brew our Mi Lan Xiang Dan Cong in a small purple clay teapot. Dan cong tea is a type of oolong from Guangdong province of China. As it's originated from the Phoenix mountain, it's also known as Phoenix Dan Cong or Phoenix tea. Oolong teas originated from this region have different aromas. The most popular aroma is the 'Mi Lan Xiang' style, which literally means 'orchid aroma.

It's a mi lan xiang style dan cong. Meaning it has a honey orchid like fragrance. The roast is medium, so it's intense but still well balanced. Give it a try!
