    I love the way you brew the tea. Thanks for showing us. I am curious, why did you wash the pot with the first flush water? Whats the reason behind?

      That is an interesting question! Thank you for watching carefully!
      Using the first flush of water to rinse the teapot is a way to 'maintain' the Yixing clay teapot. This type of teapot is made from Purple Clay from Yixing, China. The clay pot has tiny pores that allow it to breathe and absorb the tea's aroma. Over time, it can retain some tea oil and color, becoming shinier and smoother.
      It's a personal habit that enhances the beauty of the teapot and improves the tea-brewing experience.

    how many grams of tea leaves do you recommend per 100 mL?

    • @ccfinetea
      @ccfinetea  Před 5 dny +1

      That is a good question! Different tea brewers (material/shape) create different effects; brewing time and the shape of the dry tea leaves also have an influence. This is especially true for Oolong tea, where the flavor can vary significantly.
      For example, when using the Yixing clay teapot shown in the video, which has a volume of around 280ml, we recommend using 6 grams of tea leaves-approximately 2 grams per 100ml of water.
      For more detailed brewing suggestions (regarding the vessel, grams, water temperature, water volume, and brewing time for each infusion), we welcome you to visit our website for brewing instructions for each type of tea.
      However, these are general suggestions, and the most enjoyable choice depends on personal taste. The charming aspect of tea is that it's fun to discover your own preferences.😊
