A full reset unplugging the power cable worked for me. Thank you for the video
Thank you man ❤ unplugged in from the back and reset working fine now
I needed a reset as you suggested. Thank you!
Full power reset did work. Mine wouldn’t connect to another tv or a different cable would not work. Reset worked like magic.
Thank you so much for this info
Sure, the power cycle solves it for me, but only until the problem shows up the next time. Unfortunately it's a reoccurring issue and nobody was able to provide a satisfying solution for it...
im working at this at the moment i can see the boot up and home screen but when i open any game the screen goes black
update: im not sure what my problem is but i can get it to wrok for a while, i have tohave the cord not plugged all the way in.
if there are any suggestions for me, it would be appreciated, as i dont know if i have a loose or broken pin on my cord. it appears to be fine
it worked! thank you so much
Thank you so much my Xbox was not working for 4 day and I did not no what to do the power cycle help me thank you so much 😅🎉❤❤❤
Thanks it helped the reset and plug.
This happens to me with my monitor and how I solved was though a series of plugging the hdmi in and out with a combination of turning the Xbox on and off. And if that doesn’t work try swapping ends of the hdmi port
How
My xbox has a strange bug: when i go back in the dashboard, open the keyboard to send a msg or when i start a game, the hdmi dsconnect for a second. Any tips?
I just got my Xbox for Christmas and I was freaking out that it might already be broken but resetting it fix it
Thank you it is a useful guide 🙏
Imagine buying an $800 machine and having it not work a week later
Whoever paid $800 is stupid😂
It is the xbox nothing worked
sooo do u fixed it?
@@reyhamriverayou fix yours?
That's exactly what happened. I'm not saying this is why I've always been a PS fan, but this is not making a great case for me to recommend for someone to buy one
@@Mrdavis0613you do realize that’s a problem with everything that uses an hdmi
@@Mrdavis0613bro stfu the ps5 fuckin hdmi ports break like glass I’ve been Sony my entire life and ps5 sucks
OMG I WAS NEARLY GONNA CRY, though my 3 month old Xbox X had already broken, and freshly coming from PS I was saying all sorts of slanderous things to myself 😂😂😂 sorry Bill I didn’t mean it ☺️☺️☺️
I just got the series x and the new cable won't work but my old og Xbox ones HDMI will work and vice versa. Does anyone know if it's just because my tv isn't 4k/120hz?
If the power cycling unplugging the power and reconnecting works tho is there an underlying issue?
No not if you power cycle before unplugging, but if you unplug before you cycle then it could break the console.
Full reset worked for me, i own a Series X.
The power of worked for me but on my old one, the hdmi thing that you actually plug it into was broke because i wasn't careful enough plugging it in. Make sure you're careful with that. Otherwise, it will break, and you will have to take it to a shop to fix or buy a new one
Its with my monitor/xbox, at first it worked fine, now i tried comnecting it and its not working
My Xbox box broke after turning it off and unplugging it
Doing cycle it shows up sometimes and when playing loses signal, tried on a tv and monitor and same thing but on a old tv it works fine lol, driving me crazy
Ayo anyone know how to fix the new Xbox I got the hdmi fixed and everything but nothing shows up
If you’re using an older tv switch to a newer tv or monitor lower your consoles res and switch to the old tv or monitor see if that works
Woke up turned mine on and it did it and I checked all of that, the only thing that worked is I had to unplug the power plug then it booted right up
What if it’s new though? (It literally has two days)
This happens to me regularly. The only fix is to unplug the power from the Xbox and replug, then power back on.
My issue is that this happens after putting it to sleep. It's fine after holding the power button. But, I have to do this every time.
Mine will just go black screen randomly while still playing sound and I have to turn it off and back on I owned the Xbox one for years no issues not happy as I just got the fkn dog
So when I change my xbox to 120hz when I try and launch a game I get no signal but, when twitch back to 60hz games work fine
Met le le dolby vision en 8bits et active le 4/2/2 et sa marchera
Same problem sometimes the signal gones on my LG G2 and now the same on LG G3 think this is a handshake problem of the hdmi chip on series x.
The option for dolby vision gaming is gone as well so I'm very sure it's the hdmi chip of the console
I experienced this just now and think you are spot on. Just happened for the first time on my LG G3. A reset of the Xbox fixed the issue.
Xbox reset doesn't work for me
It happens to me as well on my G2. As soon as I start a game, "No signal" pops up on my screen. I have to unplug the HDMI cord and plug it back in to get it to display back on the TV screen. It doesn't do this when I connect my Xbox series X to my C9.
Weird I lose picture on my monitor whenever I try to play a game
it happend to me but the way i fixed it was to switch it to another hbmi port and it fixed it idk if it will fix it for everybody but it was fixed for me
I randomly get a black screen no signal during a game. Especially battlefield v and FIFA
Thank you I just had to reset the xbox😅
Can it be a bad partition on ssd cause the no signal
I don’t think so, but I could be wrong. I never saw that as a reason in all the guides I saw on it.
@@ChadsGamingTips ok took it to someone to try to get it fix has a no signal he check all hdmi parts said was good maybe ssd partition just wondering if that could be it I’m not a really good at technology 🤦🏽♂️
How could this help anyone it's the most ridiculous obvious stuff. Is it on and plugged in
Exactly what I was thinking. All of the comments saying "thank you so much, it worked" etc. Must be either bots or just really stupid.
@@derekmalet8850basic troubleshooting methods that you try before coming to the conclusion it’s a hardware issue, stfu
I just shake mine real hard and it fixes the black screen
It worked 🕺🏽
Ot worked thank you hold it for10 seconds
I think the issue is my tv tbh, it worked for my Xbox one but not anymore it’s from like 2010 😭
For me its my tv not connecting
But doesn’t say what service is required 🙄🙄🙄
Fresh to xbox and 1 month after the warranty expires the xbox ups and dies on me ... Whats funny is that im not even a heavy gamer smh now Microsoft wants 300 i told them i can still smell the new car smell on my xbox i think they should fix it for free and they should if they accepted to see the ontime hours on the other hand i gotta old ps3 that has never been serviced clogged with dust that increadibly still fires up like a charm ...
help nothing worked… i’m gonna cry

Did everything in the video. None of it worked. my last chance of hope was turning the TV off and unplugging (like a hard reset for the Xbox) that fixed it! Just incase any of y’all are wondering so you don’t have to lug your Xbox to another room👍🏼
Dude you’re the goat. That worked for me.
Why does the hdmi easily come off my xbox
It does on mine to
Yeah it was my tv... xD
My Xbox series x is brand new and does this at least twice of week sucks 🙄
Did u fix it
@@NexxRblx yeah took I returned to Best Buy and got a replacement no problems so far.
Dam mine got the same prob and its only 1 month old i plugged it out og my big tv upstairs to put it on my bottom but mow it js says no signal i finna get a beating rightnow
@@NexxRblx try holding the switch you turn on with that’s what you do to hard reset it I guess but mine actually has a problem they said that’s why the swapped it out.
@@badbitch549 so i js hold it down thats all?
The past two days, I’ve had this issue, where no matter what you do the Xbox series X will not show up on my TV
At first, I thought it was the HDMI cord, so I checked it with the other Xbox. It works. I checked the port with that same HDMI and that same Xbox shows up on both HDMI port, HDMI one and HDMI2
I checked the HDMI cord that connects to that same Xbox nothing
But the only way to fix it is to un plug it and then plug it back in and it works fine
Is this a hardware issue? Is this a software issue? What should I do?
And the store I’ve got it is going to be a headache To get them to look at It because they require you to ask Microsoft first, and I want to make sure that there is no technical glitches that I have to do before. I have to spend five days trying to ask Microsoft something that a store can easily identify quicker.
non funziona il problema è di Microsoft e solo lei può risolverlo, sono anni che esiste ...una vergogna
NO s
Didn't work for me
None of this worked
This video could have been 45 seconds long. What a waste of time. The first 1:20 was just explaining to people that things need to be plugged in. Shit this entire video could have been a one page paragraph and would have taken about 10 seconds to read.
This was a awful tutorial
Waste of time, useless.
That was a useless video.. no offence.
