Man! My emotions were all over the place with this one. My respect for Lyssa just jumped 1000%, for both of you actually. Michael had me in tears expressing his feelings about the most important person in his life and why. I commented to your Uncle David that I was practically jumping up and down and absolutely so happy that he addressed this problem …the BS comments from all those people with such unhappy lives that they feel that need to spread it around to the whole world….I’m worked up just like Lyssa was! I continue to watch your channel and live vicariously through all of you that have actually joined this way of life … for many reasons I’m not able to so keep up the good work, let us “live it with you” and I love you all!🌺
Those people who have been negative don't have a life of their own. My parents used to say...If you can't say something nice, don't say anything! In today's world more people seem to thrive on hate. It can become a bad habit if they let it. It's a choice: BE KIND or BE HATEFUL.
My husband and I was together for 46 years WITHOUT a marriage license. I called him my husband and he called me his wife. He passed away almost 7 years ago. We have a daughter together and she knows we were not married the way society calls a marriage. I live in Texas and Texas recognizes common law marriage so I now draw his social security.

It is so sad that someone made such an assumption regarding the meet up funds. Especially as all of you were very transparent about what the funds were to be used for. To me what is even sadder are fundraising corporations who mangers and executives are paid huge salaries, overhead costs are exorbitant and less than 15% of collections actually make it to the intended recipients. My advice for whatever it is worth is to block those hateful comments!

This is so sad that you two need to explain what you do on your own time. I wish people would just keep their mouths shut instead of causing such a stressful situation to you both. As I've gotten older I have realized I choose not to be around those who are always negative and constantly cause drama. Life is to short do have to deal with the BS. Some people are so unhappy that they try to bring everyone else down with them. Continue to be happy and chase your dreams.

McKevin here. I only watch to give you watch hours. I know the struggles. I love watching the kids grow up, and want to help you provide for them. Sure, sometimes Mike can get a little squirrely and over ambitious, but it is all a learning experience. Good luck getting the Shouse ready for the boys, and the rain catchment. I'm sure there will be speed bumps along the way, but you will get through them.

I felt for her but I got a kick out of how blunt she was, she's right.
I’ve put together, with our club, big events that raised thousands of dollars. People think because so much was raised, someone is pocketing the money. Absolutely not. Most organizers pay out of their own pocket, with no return, and their willing to do it because it’s a worthy cause. Critics don’t realize how much it cost for advertising, insurance, first aid attendants, security and on and on. The money left is donated and records show where every dollar went. If you question, step up and volunteer yourself. I’ll stick around guys. You are so giving.

That is so true Michael what you said men and women who don’t understand do not know or understand the love of God and what his order is and his order is God first Christ, husband, wife, children. If we in any way live out of His order, there is confusion, unhappiness, no joy or peace in their life that’s why the world is in the state that it’s in now, godlessness, selfishness, no compassion towards others, lovers of self. It’s no wonder our kids grow up with those attributes and the cycle continues. Break the cycle at least in your family Michael let your children see God’s Love through you living God’s order.

The irony that y'all are having to respond to this stuff when I was struck with how much infrastructure yall have put in place in less then a year! Soooo many trees cleared, ground graded, water options, the shed for the kids rooms, the dog area, rv shelter, and more....and thats with helping other channels, family trips, alot of rain, illness/injuries, etc. There has been trial and error but thats normal for anyone that is learning new skills, literally purchasing new tools/equipment and learning how to use it, etc.
