Just a suggestion. It can be hard but worth it. Ignore the nasty and just pay attention to the nice and helpful ones. Those nasties live to be nasty and now they know it really gets to you, they will keep it up. Like I say, it's just a suggestion. Don't fuel the fire. Good luck. I know it is very old.
You’re exactly right…people just need to be kind and encouraging…sadly though there will always be those who only know how to bark and spew negativity. Don’t let those folks live rent free in your mind, they aren’t worth it. Keep building your dream.

I don't think anyone should criticize without offering an alternative, criticism then walking away is like bullying. I don't think some people understand that these clips are edited and don't contain every "fact of the matter". Let's assume that most of what your noticing in the moment may have already dawned on them.
If I can offer constructive comments I'll try to explain why and offer a better solution...like some have already done.
These aren't the neighbor next door. Their doing "on the job" training. Real time schooling.

Mike please try the head I sent you. 3 strings double up like the plastic piece you have. Plus. 105 string you can use. You won't regret it. Just cut the string, put them in your pocket and go. ❤
Michael work smarter not harder. The blades are for little trees, the strings are for grass. Took you to much wasted time trimming. Its nice you have the equipment but use it correctly and take care of it. I dont understand why tools just get dropped and not put away.
I have found that the string trimmer works faster in grass and the blade is better with vines and woody weeds. Cleaning and organizing makes the rest of the work easier once everything is in its place.

That Set up with the Brush Cutting Head is NOT SUITABLE for Grass, Weed / Sappling Yes. Get the Weedwhacking Strings on it and It will Breeze through that Grass will Quick.

You ought to wear long pants when using those trimmers, rocks and debris could fly out and easily cut your bare skin. Don’t want you to get hurt.
I agree.. although it's so hot there so I get it. I've gone thru many trimmers.. I have seen some folks use sythes

Check the fuses, the little ones that look like car fuses. That is what happened to me in my RV. Thought it was a major thing and it was a 50cent fuse. Yes, they are 120 but the control for them runs on 12volt.

I replaced my rv fridge with a 12v rv fridge. Went to beach for over a week and it worked wonderfully. Just had to put a larger fuse in.

When I am in the mood I love cleaning out the pantry and get surprised by some things I forgot about. Living tiny has it;s advantages easy clean up. You leave it for a week and you have double the work. Living tiny is easy just always have to remind yourself if there is no where to put it you don't need it.

Ours has a sling you put over the shoulder and it is soo much easier, just fan the weed eater and the cut is nice. You could probably make one for that but you are strong so it wouldn't matter. Nice weed eater and good job Mike.

Lyssa- we always called it the purge, as a family of 5 needing to eliminate all the utter crap we could accumulate in a year. Lol. Kudos to you it is one of those jobs where you make a mess to clean a mess but in the end it is so worth it!

Lyssa, your Cannas are blooming yellow! They're beautiful. These come back every year, when you find the right place for them in your flower bed, they will multiply! Mine didnt come back this year and i planted new bulbs as well. I was disappointed 😢 you guys are doing a great job!!!! ❤❤❤❤❤

Mike - Food for thought if at all possible, I keep the tall grass needing to be cut, in front of me! If it is short grass behind me, I can tell if there are danger noodles there. Where you can't tell is the tall grass! That way, you can use the weedeater as a weapon! Just my thoughts. ❤❤

We use the green string for electric weed eaters for my craftsman. I think it braided or twisted? It cuts a lot better than smooth string. That blade looks like it's taking double the time. All that wood. Too bad you don't have a wood stove for heat. It just seems like such a waste. :( My daughter has to buy it because she doesn't have it on the 3 acres she is on and my place is 6 acres but it's all cedars. Yes, we do cut them for fence posts and for burning in her wood stove but cedar has to sit for at least 2 years.

Greetings from Northeast Ohio. It is a shame you don’t have a mower cause you’re literally mowing the yard with a weedeater. Some of that area you had some nice looking grass. I feel badly because you’re using your much-needed precious summer time doing a job that would take minutes if you had the correct tool but is now taking you hours.

The Craftsman weed eater, the spring steel is broke. A easy fix or not to expensive of a repair. That walk behind weed eater that Jim has would do great for you. Craftsman makes one that's about $300. I bought on 15 years ago and still use it. Had to replace a few belts but nothing major.

Hey mike nice job on the cutting grass / weeds etc have you thought of getting a strap of some kind you could wear over your shoulder to help with the back and shoulders so you don’t hurt yourself can’t have any drifters down lol just thought I’d ask
