It is so much fun to drive! I live in a rural area with long stretches of highways and curves. My 2019 civic si makes my long commute fun & it makes pulling out onto the various highways safer & easier. I traded my 2015 si in for it, the 2015 was a pretty sweet ride as well 😉
How does this compare to your 2015 SI? I remember when I drove my 14 SI I used to have so many issues shifting smoothly with the AC on, whereas my GTI does not have that issue. Does new SI have that same issue?
Rajiv Rao i don’t have any problems with accessing full power with the ac on I went over the mountain pass a few times recently and had excellent power
How easy it that color to match when one has to get paint work after an accident? High-vis Orange, pink, & blue would round out the set and make nice special edition colors.
bathiya01 Depends on what you’re looking to get out of it. I drove both and ended up getting the SI. The seats on the type R are great for the track but not as comfortable for a longer commute. The engine and feel of the type R with added blip of the gas in the downshifts are fantastic. However the exterior design of the Type R is over the top for my taste. Still both are great cars you can’t go wrong with either.
Alex Gonzalez hard to answer that question. It really comes down to your preference and location. Here in Canada I wouldn’t want to drive a Type R in winter but that might not be an issue for you.
For being a SI this car dont have anything good on it..even the sport civic had more and better options then the SI, for a SI this car has nothing good beside the HP is 205 but other then that is car lag a lot of options just for being a SI...I should know cause i have one and I dont like it..
lol the Sport doesn't have no where near to what the Si does lol and it's plain inside and exterior. I know a lot of ppl with these Si and they love them.
Yeah I agree with both, you lack knowledge of your info between trim differences, and I indeed love my 17 civic si my friend, you probably miss the CVT 😁
Without a 2.0 liter engine to tune that car is a piece if GARBAGE. I’d rather have a junk base civic with a 2.0 liter engine so you can get it above 400 hp. This car will never get tuned over 300 hp and if it did the intervals would break. Buy a GTI instead.
edgar pierre I could care less about mods I’m more interested in stock configuration and stock performance I don’t need 400 hp to enjoy a already great car

4:33 ---- Love the bridge and the country road!!
Can't wait to get mine! I've been waiting a little over a month for my Civic Si Coupe Red
Get it's amazing!!! I love mine
How much did you pay
What sub do you have?
Any comments on road noise?

Have this exact car and color. 2 weeks after buying it a 15 year old ran into me. Paint was matched no problem.
Just bought this car two days ago. Looking for info on the exhaust you have
I just bought the Type R and man The Type R is a lotttt better than this 2019 Si !!!
@@frankjimenez98 for that price you could've gotten something better than a Honda (when it comes to performance, speed, etc)
@@TheJonOrtiz it aint a type r tho!
@@TheJonOrtiz also bro the best thing is with body weight to power ratio with a tune on that type r he can out run a scat pack
@@gworld4291 doubt it
I was going to get this car and decided to get the Type R instead ... Best choice I've ever made 😂😂😂 car fast as hell !!!
Not really a great comparison. You can buy 2 Si's for the Price of 1 Type R
Mick Davis LMAOOOO
Superrrr
Wing is hiderious and I love Hondas
The wing is what makes this car sexy
Bob O for sure on the coupe, sedan looks a little less desirable
Why are so many people complaining of paint & clear coat peeling?
Hondas use water based paint vs oil for eco purposes. They don't hold up well and there's a group filing a suit against Honda
dont forget about thinner coats on each stage
Tight is good.
A four door would be better! That car is awesome. Love Honda.
Both styles look awesome but 4 door would be nice if you have friends or family
@@xplicit_kid155 Let the friends & family go in thru the front door of the coupe. There are still backseats...
Had Enough eh true too. It’ll be a pain
which is the best version? type R or SI?

Where's the tow hook?
Its a Honda. They don’t need tows
@@BobO-zo2bi lol
Car is great. Colour not so much
Agreed
I like the boldness of the yellow
It’s not a s2000
Its better then an s2000 and the Hyundai genesis around the track by a split second according to lighting lap by car and driver so it has that
But.... it’s not an s2000 lol, the track is not the only thing that matters.
I wish they would bring them back
@@mattsgarage1105 of course the closest thing to s2000 we got was the new supra
Stormtrooper 2323 only a split second?! I’d take the s2k all day
um
I got a ktuner v.12 , plm 3inch fp/dp, and CTR exhaust for sale. Got bored of the civic. PayPal.

This got cvt transmission for automatic can't believe why
Si's are 6 speed manual only.
Si's don't come in automatic. They only come in standard.
yo Becky, what’s up baby
SI all day, Ford sucks and Chevy isn’t #1 in Reliability, and that is all 😀
I prefer Toyota
Toyota honda all day
Christian servin exactly Ford sucks I own a 2014 Ford Focus. It really sucks. Looking forward when I get the Si.

cop magnet.actually infotainment is the weakest part of this car
It’s a performance car, not a workstation

You can do 400 on the motor with a type r turbo
