You can do a wireless dump from the G7X MKII to your phone via the canon app on the cams wifi easy. no need for the SD card adapter to phone.
You can't transfer RAW files wirelessly

@@majafras398 you can transfer images on any G7X difference is on Mark I and Mark II you can only transfer JPEG. With mark III you can transfer RAW format as well

I have always though over the years the pics where really good with the G7X II in fact when the 3 came out I picked up a practically new G7X II off the marketplace for 200 almost new in the box. im going to get creative with them now more since this vid.

aahhh sold on the g7x. I want one just to take funny & nice pics. Besides that I have also a canon RP where I mainly shoot on. I did a box search at my parents house and found my old old fujifilm digi cam :P. That adapter is in my bag for years already too, it's such a handy thingy
How does the Fujifilm eBay camera do with nighttime flash shots?! I have an expensive mirrorless and it sadly doesn’t do well in low light.

What did you use to record this video?
Hey I’m a photographer and the lagging part on the camera is probably your sd card being slow. Since you are shoot in raw it’s a way bigger file size making it harder for the sd card to capture and save. I would recommend you try an extreme pro for sundisk! The faster the write speed the better and less laggy it will be

Hello! I have a Samsung phone and I was wondering if you know any adaptor for Samsung phones ? ❤
The G7X Mark II model came out in 2016, so Canon no longer supports it. That means no Canon repair service for this Mk II, and they no longer make parts for it. So most pro shops wont repair it because of the parts drying up. So if you own one and it works, keep it. If you are looking to purchase a camera, go for the Mk III or another brand.

@@Anwesha__ I just checked again on the Canon website and it still shows the Canon G7X Mark II camera as being on backorder. You may want to contact Canon to see if you will ever see the Mark II camera. They are already producing the Mark III so I doubt they will go back to producing the Mark II. As for the protection plan, Canon does NOT repair any Powershot series cameras. Canon says it is not cost effective. If the camera is under warranty, they will send you a new one. If out of warranty, they will recommend replacement due to the costs to repair. This info came directly from a Canon tech I spoke to. Hope this helps. And if you call Canon let us know if they really plan to send you a Mark II. If they don't give you a firm date, you may want to cancel the order and buy the Mk III or another brand camera. Otherwise you may be waiting forever. Good luck.

I have the same camera. Did you ever have to press any kind of eject button on the camera before removing the SD card? After years of using the G7x II, my SD card randomly failed. Just wondering if it's due to removing the SD card without some random extra step.
