  • in this video we will compare 4 flagship Nvidia GPUs from four different generation to see if we need a 4000 gpu when it's out or not.
all tests are inside unreal editor.
you can find the package used for the vr benchmark here

At first, I thought the Video Quality doesn't look soo good and the video might be bad. But I have to say. Congratulation! You have a really detailed comparison. Also great to include older cards like the 900 and 1000 series. Bravo! I am sure you will grow a big audience.
As a side note, if you are interested.
I think the Video could have been more compressed in length to bring it to about 15min or eventually even 10min. Make it a little bit snappier.
(for example when you draw the lines with % between the cards. The viewer doesn't need the drawing. Edit Pictures with perfect Arrows or lines and the % and implement the frame as a still frame.
The audience doesn't need to see all the processes it mostly wants to see information in a shorter time frame)
Since you don't have expensive Video gear (which is understandable.. it is f"" expensive. These upgrades come with time) I would suggest, do not start your Video with a shot of you. Like I thought in the beginning it might turn away some ppl. Try rather a shot as you have on like in chapter LEvel design or benchmark where it "pops"
For you Video of yourself... I don't know what you have at your disposal. But a few things that seem like a quick fix.
Try to more distance between you and the Wall. Like 0.5-1m if possible. Maybe you don't want to show what's on the wall, but then just zoom in a little more.
With this, you should be able to lose the strong shadows around you.
If possible, get more lights and a diffusion. There are youtube tutorials on to build strong DIY Studio Lamps for cheap and use something like a milky shower curtain to diffuse the light.
Light is going to improve your Kamerashot a lot.
    Keep up your work!

Don’t know your base system but you might be CPU restricted in framerates with the Unreal Engine city example when moving up the RTX chain in your GPU test scores. UE has a huge impact on the CPU in general.
Plus You can also check in GPUZ to see if your RTX 3080 Ti is being bandwidth limited by a PCIE 3 lane downshift in speed from PCIE 4. There is a big performance loss not running in gen 4 spec.

Thank you for your comment. The system for this video used has a 5900x with x570 asus tuf pcie 4 enabled.

Wrong the diff between pcie 3 to 4 is not that much especially for low transactional tasks like unreal engine he is driving 2 4k displays

@@gabeo9740 it may vary on the mobo if his gen4 nvme is using enough lanes to cause his GPU to downshift to PCIe 3 the impact will become more noticeable. Anyway it’s easy to sanity check with GPUZ. On average a PCIE 3 setup on whole will not take much away for performance. It’s a rare case otherwise, moving to another m.2 slot may fix.
