It was great having you brother. Looking forward to seeing what the viewers want me to cook for you next!
Hell yea! Awesome video from two of the best CZcams channels!
I love you Guga! You Save my life every time you upload
Damn i really wished i was sonny right now.
hey awesome! the cool friends list of this channel is growing even more!
Give him âthe cheapestâ you can find. Since you already went wayyy over the top with this episode. Sonny is a human garbage disposal, go nuts!
I like how guga treats all his guests like family, definitely not holding back on expensive cuts. Very generous man. He deserves the success hes reaping RN.
czcams.com/video/yd1QhLbjUb0/video.html
I'd say he sees this more as a smart investment. He gets to advertise his channel to Sonny's subscribers.
@@LostBear. He's brazilian, it's very common here to treat even strangers like that.
@@jurusco Why do people always expect something in return, its sad.
@@LostBear. those two things arenât mutually exclusive.
Gugaâs neighbors must go nuts every time he fires up the grills. I love that he charcoal grills everything. Propane grilling just isnât the same. I donât care what they say.
Go nuts because they'll only be able to smell it and not taste it đ
@@dapukisgoingon its worse for us we arent even able to smell it just see it.
Well thereâs no denying the propane is nice for a random night you wanna grill something quick for dinner during the week.

I loved this one.... My two favorite food enthusiasts getting right down to the beef. Guga being an inspiration to my culinary skills n Sonny being an inspiration on how to live. There's a specific method for cooking steak I've perfected that ive wanted to have both them try at some point in our lives. I'd like to see more collaboration between you two. I graduated from LCB Orlando over a decade ago now n love the two of you from the pit of my stomach.
It's nice to see another person not get completely towered over by sunny. đ
I think you should bring Guga on your show. He likes to experiment and I cannot think of a better person to show him those exotic foods
Yeah, but since he still needs to record for his either dry-age experiment or other experiment videos, he can only do 1 or 2 videos with him
Well, Sonny could be Guga's best bet as guest for his "Mystery Meat" challenge.
Ps. I'm curious how Guga would prepare uterus meat đ¶
hell YES! :D
Nice to see Im not the only one that prefers pork to be made medium rare
nah
This was an awesome Behind The Scenes look at Gugaâs place. I have been watching both his channels for 3, maybe 4 years, and watching how they evolved from such humble beginnings to basically a full-on production company is inspiring.
He deserves it. Heâs a good dude.
It makes me happy to see two guys I follow that, to me, represent two of my passions (food and figs) talking on the internet. The world just got a little smaller.
@@brazoscondra3088 the world is very small, and it is shrinking by the day! This is why I try to avoid ever saying mean things. You never know who youâll run into đ
Same here man
I've started to implement some of Guga's techniques in my own cooking, and it's just amplified the quality of my cooking. Seriously, I never see a bad vibe coming from this guy, and seeing how *humble* he is in his setup, he definitely deserves the recognition he gets from the community.
Gugaâs character and energy is just perfect man..Really love this guyđ„đ„đ„đ„
woulda been sick if it had any form of understanding behind it, but one cant have it all
I definitely love the pairing. Guga likes to experiment, you can find a broader palate. Seafood, poultry, even insects. I doubt Guga likes much veggies, but many are good on bbq.
He really should like. Red pepper, jalapenos etc. are amazing when grilled.
Guga usually likes to do a side dish with his experiments which are usually some type of veggie
Imagine being his neighbor and smelling BBQ everyday đ€€đ€€đ€€
Think i'd have to move tbh haha
i wanna move next door. or his couch so i can get some left overs.
Pfft. If anything I'd ask/beg to have some each episode.
id always peek over the fence so he can invite me over for being nosy xD
I think that is more of a curse, you know, you can smell it but can't have it. Because of this you'll always crave for it but never get it.
Wow, having watched guga for around a year, it was amazing to truly see the scale of his meat collection!

Agreed, I think that dude may have more money in meat than I have in my house.
Yeah, I've never seen his set up either. Really cool.

my 2 favorite food channels collab. what more could you ask for. this gave a whole new behind the scenes perspective, very cool.
The only reason the skirt stake is cheaper than the flatiron is, because it was a smaller steak. You canât compare total amount (I.e. 22$ vs. 40$) you have to compare price per pound, and there the skirt steak is 50% more expensive with about 15$ per lb vs 10$ per lb for the flat iron⊠canât compare apples with pears
Skirt lowkey steak taste better
same with the last comparison... small vs big piece.
he cooks so much steak but its like a glarring error to me and i cook almost zero steak
@@biziluxgames8924 types of cuts have inherently different sizes. You can't have a filet mignion as big as a flat iron or whatever. The game is which steak is more expensive, not which steak is more expensive per lb.
I really liked seeing guga like this. Seemed so relaxed and chilled doing this, and good to see him grilling and in a more natural way, seeing a different angle to what we normally see. Loved this video
I'll be honest; the first time I saw Guga he was learning how to make sushi on Hiroyuki Terada's channel. Hiro seemed to be several classes above him, and I was surprised to learn Guga is a pretty damn good cook in his own right.
Agreed, he seems like such a nice person.
Probably comes down to the editing ...gugas editors have a different style and maybe equipment used
I want him to do a meat and greet
Dry-Age in insect dust! (blended roasted/dried insects then rubbed on the steak). That would be a perfect collab for Sunny and Guga!!

No steak is worth $1600.00 Now they may charge $1600, but I do not think it is worth it. I have had Japanese Wagyu and they are the best steaks I have ever had. Simply fantastic. I just refuse to accept that it is THAT much better. It is like when you see a bottle of whiskey for $5000. Sure, it is probably fantastic, but is it 100x better than the $50? or 10x better than a $500 bottle?
đ To be fair, you can never *quantitatively compare things *quantitatively, like you can measure one type of sweetener is 100x stronger than cane sugar, but never say if it is 100x 'better' than the alternatives
It's not just Wagyu... It's A5.. the fat content and marbling is what gives it the A5 grade.. most people only have a small portion of the A5 as it is so rich and expensive.
wr
Value is highly subjective.
@@ghostpiratelechuck2259 is that so? Value can be objectively determined if you look at facevalue of things sold or worth selling. It's only subjective when rich people dont care how much they can spend in the name of social statues and greed of those who wants to make a quick bucks.
" I was there with a beautiful lady." " Oops, my wife behind the camera, I was there with a human." Had me rolling.
czcams.com/video/yd1QhLbjUb0/video.html
Funny that the steak he liked the best, was also the cheapest. Just goes to show that being expensive doesn't mean much.
You have to consider though, the starting point was already pretty high (even the cheapest steaks had good marbling).
If you are talking 2 ribeyes 1 select/choice and 1 prime, the prime will pretty much always be much better and justify the higher price.
@@KevinWangz yeah it's definitely diminishing returns at that point
czcams.com/video/yd1QhLbjUb0/video.html
Thats why my dad doesnât want wagyu. Too expensive and that he wants more chew to the meat.
Only when GUGA cooks it. lol
He seems like the kind of guy to invite his neighbors over
Being a guga and Sonny watcher itâs funny to see the meat cooking scenes in the food review channel style instead of the intense way gugas channel does it
" Taste like uterus." Not many can say that. Food looked amazing. Hard to believe the price of the steak. Has to be so good. Was fun to watch. Great video

Why use quotes if you aren't going to use the words that were said in the video? Lol
Doesn't matter how good it is, it's not worth that much lol.
I would hate to be his neighbor. Imagine having to smell that grilling all the time. I'd probably gain 25 lbs just by smell. đ€€đ€€đ€€đ„©
If Guga is as lovely of a person he is in the videos, he probably invites them over from time to time - at least I imagine him to be that kind of person - I could be totally wrong of course. If he does, it's a jackpot being his neighbour - if he doesn't, yeah I agree, smelling that all the time would be killing me :D :D :D
I would be staring in awe and thinly veiled jealous anger constantly!!!!!!
And then when I tried to smoke some meat as well and it inevitably failed or wasnât as good as gugas clearly would, my jealousy would only grow and grow with every failed steak.
I had neighbors that used to just give us food over the fence. They were the sweetest! They moved awhile ago. It was so sad!

Love his honesty. Googa is always getting praised and you can tell heâs a bit annoyed when his wasnât the best.
Yeah, I was a bit surprised that Sonny didnât praise any of the meats that much
@@masterobio616 Sonny isn't really like other CZcamsrs who'll super praise everything though. He has eaten a lot all over the world and I bet that although these are good, they can't compete to meats in other cultures. To be fair, American palette is pretty mild. To someone with a palette exposed to strong flavors of Asia and Africa, a very expensive steak in the US with minimal seasonings is still really just a kinda mild meat. that's good quality, and that's that.
Different people has different taste, some like it heavy, some like it mild, some even just only like the experience on eating the food thatâs why you heard him saying itâs totally different in kobe because of the experience

id be flying in from cali lol. But i never even thought of this bc wagyu aint cheap, definitely has a plan b for something like this. either a generator or a second location.
My mind is kind of blown by how much difference the cameras make in showing how the steaks look. Guga's channel makes the steaks look impeccable with a really satisfiying dark crust and perfect pink throughout the inside. Here on this video, the difference is MASSIVE. The steaks look grey with little pink spots in the middle, looking like they're really overcooked. Hell, even Guga's backyard looks better on his channel. The camera work and editing on Guga's channel is on another level.
This was probably filmed on an iphone which is good for a phone but its no where near the gears that guga's channel is using
@@manenwan you could actually see his wife with an iphone when they ring guga's doorbell
@kyren I think the steaks youâre referring too that looked grey with little pink spots was the pork cuts. Itâs pork so itâs going to be like that.

Considering some of the severe weather they can get in Miami at times, I'd assume he must have a good backup generator.
I'd also assume he's got WAY more than $20k of meat in that garage. Those fridges & freezers were PACKED, not to mention the meat he has in the dry ager alone.
