It's not bamboo, but birch, lowers the carbon footprint of production for the whole bag by 10%, and about 98% for the support compared to aluminium.

I found connecting the side compression straps top to bottom (diagonal) compresses the sides much better than connecting them horizontally. It really pushes the sides in.

A few questions...does the torso adjustment stay securely put? It seems to slide really smoothly so I wonder if it slips at all when under load. Do the snaps for the shoulder width adjustment stay closed or are there any issues with them popping out? Also, any sign of the wooden frame warping? Great video! Thanks for sharing it!
Hey, all the components on this bag are rock solid. The hip belt is the most sturdy I have ever had on a pack. The way that the straps pull INWARD as opposed to outward, give it extra stability. I don't think the frame or any of its components will ever fail, hence why this pack is considerably more expensive than others..
Do you think a 65l is enough for 7 days backpacking trip?
So, I never knew that you could take the lid and do that. I have the same pack but in green, and I love it. However, I am trying to find ways to cut weight. You really have to pack it with nothing but essentials and those essentials have to be light af.
Yeah I'm noticing the same, it's heavy no matter what. They say the carrying system makes it feel lighter when it's worn, (and it is comfy af) but I guess time will tell.
And now, after few month, what can u tell us about the weight? Is reallly confortable like an Osprey or is too bulky to be carried for many days?
It's still incredibly comfortable no matter what - the carrying system is so solid that you don't notice any of the weight on your hips or your shoulders.
I'm thinking of Osprey Atmos 65 AG, but i cant compared to this Fjallraven Kajka 65/75 cz i cant find any in my area to compare to. Have you owned Atmos before?
Atmos 65 AG is more like abisko 65
The kajka is much stiffer and firmer than my ospreys ..but osprey do a copy of the kajka in almost every way

just curious but what was your total load out weight?
I don't remember specifically, sorry :( but on this particular trip (with this bag, and also my most strenuous trip to date) - my bag was considerably heavier than normal because I brought large camera, lenses and tripod, batteries etc. I didn't feel the wear on my body (no pain from the pack), just on my feet and knees lol
Does it have hydration port?
yes, there is a pocket for hydration pack inside the bag. You probably can see a clipper for a hydration pack hose on a right shoulder strap.
so why use plastic buckles .. and not lundhags z clips ... i cant call them i have a kajka 75 and 65 for summer theyre awesomely adjustable ,awesomely comfy . got to admit with the ally z clips would be an almost made for the gods pack !
