Perhaps an episode on lessons learnt from all your trips on what works for you when you’re on the trail? Finding ways and routines to manage the gear and yourself on the trail takes lots of experience and miles - would be interesting to hear what practices and methods you have identified as important to make your experience more enjoyable👍
there you go making my day John! I'll look into that! THANK YOU!
You look so so happy when you explain . It’s so beautiful that when man can work in thing he really love .
Girl from Japan
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed this video more than the other ones
Thanks for the video Ted. Appreciate your enthusiasm to bring such great content to us.
And congrats on 15k. The last few minutes, your genuineness as a person shines. One can see how much this means to you. Kudos.
Thank you, this really touched me! I'm slowly getting more comfortable in front of the camera, it will hopefully continue to shine through in the future as well! Thanks for being around! :)
Grattis Ted till 15K, Det förtjänar du med ditt intressanta innehåll och förmågan att motivera och lära ut! Ut på äventyr nu!
Tack! ja, snart dags för nya tag! :)
Finally seeing the all-important coffee that you "missed" in your last video. (;
Thank you for another nice video! Great to see what others are packing to know what I might've missed for my own pack.
I live and I learn right! :) thanks for watching friend!
Huge 15k Congrats! 👍 Thanks for the video. Nice sarcasm going on there. 😄
This channel is 90% sarcasm and 10% outdoors.. weird!
@@TedWeirum Haha! Especially enjoyed your observation about all the well trained people & experts in the comment section. 😆 Keep up the good work!
Well done on 15k Ted🎉🎉🎉. I love your videos of multi day hikes plus fjallraven reviews. How about a review on the different real meals
Thanks brother! that's interesting! I'll see what I can do there! :)
Thanks for making the videos, there's always something in it, right! Congrats on the 15K! Not leaving anytime soon!
pleasure is all mine to have you onboard my friend! :)
Thanks for all your content Ted and Merry Christmas to you and yours!
Thanks brother! To you and yours too!
Woohoo 15k - congratulations! I would be very interested in what you do when you are not making videos, like a vlog (could be totally made up, just for enjoying your kind of humor). Aaand how you are planning your trips. Just do what you like, then we will enjoy it too.
Easy, when I'm not making videos I'm answering comments! : ) I'll might do that one day, didn't think people be interested in that! : )
@@TedWeirumas long as there is chocolate...
Won’t make any promises! :)
@@TedWeirum Neither would I 😄
Congratulations on your success Ted!
Been watching you since you bought the VW California, keep doing what you’re doing 👌🏼
Thank you so much brother! It's been a long time since then! I really appreciate you stickin around! :)
@@TedWeirum still remember you scaring a very young Albert when he was sleeping while you were driving 😂
What is the weight on that multi day pack?!
Solar power?
You forgot your projector for watching movies.
**ultralight backpackers clutching at their pearls**
A lot Andy. Somehow I don’t have a film crew or a cameraman carrying my stuff for filming. I’ve seen people going super light and it works for them, this totally works for me to I know that because I walked over 1000kms with more weight than this! :)
@@TedWeirum what is a lot? I’m simply curious.
Ted, Merry Christmas to you and the family!
Great video again, I don't think I'd add anything extra to my package for a multiday trip.
Really appreciate the recognition to us subscribers, however like I've said before, do this for you not us because that makes for great viewing.
Trek on my friend.
Hey brother! thanks a lot! see you in the next one! :)
@@TedWeirum You must come back to the UK soon! We have lots to offer!
Trevlig genomgång, och grattis till 15'! 🎉👍
Tack! Och tack! :)
I was going to get that beanie in red, but now I'm going to get it in green too.
On the beanie I just want to clarify that the.. unique look was made by an advanced washing technique for a specific temperature and time, it simply can't be recreated. there was also stretching involved after the first process!
@@TedWeirum tights up top, tights below!
100% :)
Congrats on the 15K!! On to the 20, 25, 50? 😊
What I was wondering on a multi-day hike what do you use or how do you wash yourself? 😅
I use Wilderness Wash by Sea to Summit. Wash yourself, clothes and dishes.
I carry a little bottle of Dr bronners soap. A couple of drops goes a long way
The two products I show is from a Swedish brand called Sjö&hav, means lake&ocean, link here:sjohav.com
Thanks for the info!! Will definitely try some of those 😊
Food: and what you bring on a multi day hike please.
Thanks.
Great question! I’ll do a video on that! :)
you should bring a first aid kit for your cameras as well =) =) =)
Bro, I gots me some of that insurance! :P
Congratulations on 15k!
Thanks brother!
Great video. It's always interesting to see what other people pack. What sleeping bag model is that? I'm amazed how small it packs down being that warm. One other question. Did you buy your tights a size larger to accommodate the long johns/base layer? Congratulations on 15k. At the 6:32 mark, looks like a blue sasquatch way in the background. With those fish hitting the surface, a luxury would a fly rod to bring. Peace
Thanks brother! the sleeping bag is the Move with bag, it's not warm enough for winter usage! I got the tights in my regular size, they are flexible! there may or may not have been a Sasquatch there, some suits arrived shortly after and then I woke up in my home.. weird! :)
Hi, congrats on the overall content on the account, very nice! I have a question about the Keb 52. Since I was planning on using it for winter and snowy overnights as well, is there a place for both ice axe and trekking poles on it (not either or, but both)? I saw it has one strap at the bottom for a ice axe, but could all of that fit on a Keb 52? And I guess the tent would have to go inside since there is not spot for it anywhere on the outside part?
You could fit it on the sides, and the tent could go underneath the top lid!
Thanks for watching brother!
Hello, I'm new to the outdoor world and I don't really know what I should purchase and look out for in a backpack. I wanted to get into bushcrafting or trekking. In my opinion the Fjällräven Singi 48 looks like a great and versatile backpack for me to start out with if I'm not wrong. Is this the case? Watching your videos and from content creators running around with the Keb 52 or Kajka 65 makes me uncertain if I'm going to make the right choice. Because for that price point it's an investment for sure.
hey! I think you're absolutely on the right track with the sign 48, I've made video on the channel about it, it's perfect for bushcraft!
@@TedWeirum Thank you very much for the quick answer! I informed myself more this topic and watched your video about the singi 48 after your comment. I bought it and I can't wait to strap it on my shoulders! Btw since I'm new to your channel it is mind blowing for me that you are still answering questions in your comment section. Keep up the good work!
Any chance you’ll be reviewing the Kajka 35 soon?
I am curious about the sizing and how much can be shoved in there.
Yes!! I have ordered it, just wanting for the confirmation!
@@TedWeirum 🤘🏻awesome!!
so much stuff to think about. 💀
Try filming it to! :)
Why not bring the tarp on a multi day?
Sure, it all depends on time of year and the place, if you’re high up in the mountains you might be better off with a windsack, if it’s summer time and low chance of rain it will most likely just take up place in the pack but for pretty much all other scenarios it’s a great piece of kit!
Ok thank you :)
8:49 ha ha🤣🤭
Gotta give credit where credit’s due! ;)
HI, loving your content as a new subby... looking at the Singhi 48 or the kep 52, i like the modular additions for the Singhi but not sure if they will become an annoyance so is the kep 52 a better option? only for a 1 - 3 night pack not long trips. Also is the back system the same and comfort levels ? thanks in advance
If you are moving a lot when you’re out and not doing much of the bushcraft stuff then I’d say keb, if you’re more static and doing bushcraft then singi!
@@TedWeirum Awesome thanks for the quick response. Love your honest and forthright approach on your content, nice change from all the crap on youtube.
@karlbratby4349 anytime brother! Glad to have you onboard!
What sleepingbag do you use?
Singi 2 or 3 season depending on the temp!
Congrats! Does anyone know what stove he is using?
Hey David, I love that you ask the comment section, all of them do know! as a matter of fact they know everything! short answer: Primus lite + :)
very good video Ted. maybe a compare video between the keb 52 and the 72. You use them both, are there more things different ore only the 20 liters more what the 72 have?
I think its just the 20liters. I have and love the 52, thanks to the floating top you can easily go to 70liters I think. :)
thanks brother, it's the size, I haven discovered any big secrets between them so far!
confirmed! :)
@@TedWeirum Thanks for the answer. One question Why is the Keb better then the Kajka? This is what i mostly here from people.
Still loving my Fjallraven tights. Men in tights!
same here!
Halo Ted... 👋🏻
Can i ask,
The hat you wear looks cool in video Fjallraven Classic Denmark with your son, i like it. Does it dry quickly when you sweat?
Because i have the same brand but with different material and it takes a long time to dry.
Thanks brother! for me it dries out fast! :)
We call the shovel a poopscoop
I knew there was a better word for it! Hey, congrats on the application for polar 2024, see you there! :)
@@TedWeirum no selection this year but I’ll keep applying, I will ware them down one day
Great video! I have the Keb 52 and I absolutely love it but I went for a few days (five) on a winter hike and felt the bag was a bit small. I'm thinking about getting the bigger 72 version but I'm also considering Kajka 85. Which one would you recommend? I'm planning on using it during the colder months and longer hikes, do you think the Keb 72 is sufficiently large?
I think so! :) of course it all depends on how much you bring with you!
@@TedWeirum Okey thanks :) I don't bring much non essential stuff but I thought I would go for a really big pack like Kajka just in case, but the Keb is too good🤤
Agreed! :)
What tights are these? Are they warm?
abisko trekking tights pro, I made a video about them on the channel! not meant to be warm! :)
Well earned brother, well earned..✨️✨️✨️
Thanks brother! :)
Great video

@@TedWeirum should be delivered soon. I intend to take it to The Search and Rescue Team I volunteer with we have an all day exercise planned for 18th December. We'll post a thanks to you and to Brew Company on FB and other channels (if we don't freeze first)
That’s awesome Jay! You’re one cool dude! :)
Gear from Fjallraven for thousands did not bring more joy. It just looks like comersial suck.👎
I understand, what brings you joy?
@@TedWeirum It is not subject of your video. Which is profesional in lot of ways. But I just don't like that nearly all your presented gear is from one company. Which in real life is not possible unless you are richbich, or payd by that company. Because lot of better gear you can find for better value than from Fjallraven. - great company but expensive.
I understand. In my case I chose to concentrate on one brand, learn all I can about the company and present what I know to the world.
As you say, the products comes with a different price point than some other brands, from my understanding it’s not just a number drawn from thin air, the process of making the garments and the environmental impact that they try to reduce comes with a price, in the long run this is so much more valuable I think.
I do know that there’s some other great companies out there but I intend to focus on this one.
