Repairing of road is very good initiative and commendable job but without proper drainage it's of no use since the condition will always remain the same during rainy season on top of the road is very small and narrow which two small vehicles can barely pass especially between Mill area and Pentecostal church Area, this road leads to PHC chumu, Norman college, chumu hospital (under construction)etc.
Citizens participation is good. But what is the govt doing ?
Chumu people should learn how to swim.
If roads are constructed by public, local body should not have the right to collect toll tax over those roads.

My suggestion never repair road because pulblic pay taxes. If we keep on repairing roads, ministry will leave upto public in future too. Infact we need to gether public and get area MLA and let him/her drive in such road.

The present government should be ashamed. That the daily wage earners should contribute towards the maintenance of the road, whereby it's the responsibilities of the government to do so.
