We had a very bad experience in civil hospital . On the year 2021.
I still remember a nurse who was full of herself. Too much attitude and rude while my Dad was on the verge of his last breath. Instead of taking care of him, she was complaining for us calling them for help. Maybe she got irritated.
But that was the time my Dad needed you guys the most.
Of course!!My Dad was hardly breathing and imagine, how can we just stare and watch him without doing anything?? We panicked, got emotional, didn't know what to do. And there she was, with an angry face. Saying this and that to me.
Come on Nurse!! He's my Dad.
Have some love .. I'm sure you have a Dad.
(Please don't be rude to your Dad like you were on that particular Day)
During that worst time, I couldn't do anything nor reply back to her since I was feeling so weak and helpless. But after my Dad passed away on that very night.
I've always hated that nurse and it's been 2 and a half year now. I still hate that nurse with all of my heart.
I've never hated someone so much that tears suddenly roll down when I think about that day.
I've always wanted to say something about this worst experience I've had in civil hospital. Finally I'm doing it. Something which I've kept inside my heart for long.
I don't know her name or else I would have exposed her name here as well.
But one day I'll find her name. When I'm ever ready to visit that civil hospital.
If you are a Doctor or nurse, please have some empathy and do take care of one's life. If you're lazy and you're doing it just for money. Brother & Sister!! I say.. please leave the job. A person's life is not a game to be played.

My neighbour's wife met the same fate 7 years. After she gave birth to her second child, she started bleeding (due to incision - if this is the right term) and the nurses did not pay attention to this despite the husband trying to the tell the nurses on duty about the bleeding. The nurses and the doctor had the audacity to scold the husband and other relatives saying they knew how to do their job and need not be reminded. The wife died that night, the baby survived. The thought of this resurfaces every time i see a case like this.
The worst thing about this is - 'IF' a doctor or a nurse is in the wrong and do not admit to fault they will manage to evade the accusation with a load of medical terminology bullshit.
This is not to say - all doctors and nurses are guilty. But neither are all doctors and nurses not guilty.
    Rest in peace dear sister.

Well that incision is called 'Episiotomy' , and it mean cutting whole downside wall of vajina till perineum.
Well, let me inform you this rampant episiotomy practise is now 'BANNED' by WHO AND UNITED NATIONS UNICEF' itself , cos it is highly old world barbaric practise when 'Childbirth was not taught to men' which was incorporated in medical colleges and among male students who literally knew nothing of body anatomy of opp sex i.e.women in 18th or 19th cents when little to no knowledge of childbirth assistance was there , and this 'Episiotomy' is declared by Unicef as 'Wrong and risky' to not be done routinely unless any emergency need .
Also, WHO declared new safety guidelines about birthing practises
      1. That during childbirth and throughout labor, woman should be moving in different positions eg. Layi g on sides , walking, squatting, etc. Until crowning that makes, her pelvic bone flexible to push out baby, and hence birth canal also flexibly expands, and no incision is required in normal cases. But in India, hospital force woman to lay on back and put her legs locked making her body not push naturally and then they cut her, cos 'Surgical incision' can make them get money hence. And they do not care it will kill her
      2. WHO has said wlevery woman should be given knowledge of labor phases, pain mangement and childbirth, it ensures that she is aware when somebody like doc misuses power to fool her during the phase.
      3. WHO had told to give utmost attention to health of birth givers, but most hosputal abuse her and her family member instead cos they care just money, this is called 'Obstetric violence' meaning violence on body of woman during birth in hospital settings.
This practise stems from old times, that 'In old era, men took over childbirth of women but had no idea abt women's bodies and processes or even anatomy, and used to perceive childbirth as 'Disgusting', also actual pregnant women had no knowledge of and never witnessed how baby is born lol making woman vulberable to abuse during childbirth, only midwives knew abt this process abt what is right vs what is wrong, so male physicians did not knew how baby come out cos they had never seen female anatomy and childbirth process amd also because labor takes long time and baby is seen after hours of labor and men did not knew from where baby comes out, hence european male physicians of old time when they came into women's rooms to grab the whole scene they forced labor pain suffering women to not move in diff positions to fasten labor but instead forced women to lay flat glued on backs on bed and bend knees and expose vulva for hours at other end to a man and not move at all throughout labor pains , cos men had no idea how babies come out or how to make baby come out and they did not wanted to ask 'Midwives' abt the knowledge out of egoes, and hence they made women to lay flat, motionless like statues with expose vulva for many hours so that men can easily understand how baby come out lol, and today they do same and then when they get bored of staring her privates for hours they inject pitocin steroids forcefully to do a csection in hurry even if it is risky for her, but this flat on back position been imposed on woman for long time has more risks of tearing of whole private parts and 'BLOOD LOSS IN WOMEN DURING BIRTH and deaths' (This is not normal birth position, it was forced in medieval era by men on women cos men wanted to experiment on woman's body and actually makes labor and baby's transition thru pelvis much more complicated, due to whuch woman's body couldn't push properly n easily hence this unnatural pose led to unnecessary need for cutting incision and lot more breaking and cutting of her vulva which was unncecessary in normal low risk pregnancies), this old world practise was copied as it is in medical syllabus of 18th cent era, which India copied and obeys old world 18th cent 'Knowledge' of barbarically cutting and incisioning private parts, etc.
And niw WHO has told hospitals worldwide to adopt newly reasearch healthier PRACTISES in delivery. And here in our nation docs are not updated with latest 21st cent researches led by WHO.
Sadly, 'Women themselves are not given childbirth education also, so no woman knows whether the doc is doing right thing or is he abusing her!'

At Government hospitals most of the doctors and nurses are very rude an arrogance. Those who are on duty on that very day should have to be punished according to the laws in order to avoid unfortunate incidents happened again in future or to other persons.

Have face the same sort of attitude of doctor (Gynae) n nurses at DHD last year on 2nd of July. I was told to visit other private hospital on the day of her delivery just because my wife was visiting private hospital for regular check up before her delivery.
The doctor n nurses totally refuse to operate while she was in high labour pain though we had all the past medical reports with us.
My wife gave birth to a healthy twin baby at belho nursing home &
By Gods grace my wife n babies are doing fine.
Thanx to Dr Mhasi belho n her team for quick assistance.

I work in Delhi as a nurse, we always check every 15/30 minutes, patients don't need to call us, we observe them tine to time.... So we have no death history in our hospital. Once there was one patient from nagaland, the patients mother thank us saying that in our nagaland, the nurses are very rude and neglects patients, and thank us alot... I feel so bad why nurses and doctors neglected if they have sacrificed and promised to serve.

I went to district hospital not because of money but because the nurses are trained and experienced ones. But sadly the amount of attitude they show is more than their service towards patients. It was evening and i was in constant labour pain but my family had to go and call the nurses turn by turn for three or more times. They were not even busy at that time.
Never faced or heard a single good stories about district hospital staffs/doctors.

May your wife's soul and little one's soul rest in peace. It is indeed so saddening to know that in this 21st century there's still woman who die in childbirth. What is more alarming is the fact that she was in a hospital at that time. This is purely a case of medical negligence, until and unless these kind of cases are highlighted, the so called medical personnels will not learn their lesson. We , the nagas are so lenient when it comes to such cases but it's high time the persons responsible are held responsible for their act.

Place of birth does not decide 'Death or life of pregnant woman', the cares and attention given to her decide her fate.
In USA, has highest maternal mortality , and 90% births related deaths happen in hospital and women die cos, women are sexually and physically abused, forced csections that lead to blood clotting , even 'normal delivery procedure' is not normal but a money making business with woman not allowed to move , her husband or mother is not allowed to be on her side and has unknown staff staring at her vulva with no privacy, her delicate private parts are rampantly blade or razor cut and operated wiyhout anesthesia in name of widening birth canal (WHO declare Episiotomy as risky and abnormal medical procedure and should not be done in normal deliveries unless any major need recently, yet hospital cut women rampantly to grab money leading to deadly loss of blood) which leads to excessive bleeding, and woman is not allowed to move or change into different birth positions and force them into just flat on back pose, docs are always in rush with no sympathy for woman and pull out baby right from head too harshly and fastly without thinking of consequences which injures her vulva, male doctors stare vulgarly at private parts of women, nurses may slap you during labor pain if u protest, and wome fear to 'Stand for their dignity as women think they are dumb and do not know anything abt childbirth and doctor is god to let do anything to their private parts', and due to all these stress women undergo 'Heavy blood pressure, Hormonal imbalance, or heavy bleeding and die in hospitals while giving birth' or sometimes child is dead, and doctors give reason - "In Humans, unlike other animals, Childbirth is UNNATURAL, cos human women's bodies are defective, stupid, unskillful and ugly and unable to push out baby so only csection should be done .period.hence all women will die only, cos GOD gave curse that childbirth is automatically death for humans cos of Eve, so ur wife's fate was not good and we did ALL GOOD TREATMENT TO HER YET SHE DIES"
This is condition of most hospital births around world where sexual , verbal and physical abuse and lack of autonomy of woman on her self body and lack of humanity is common in hospitals, leading to maternal death or infection. hospitals already see 'Childbirth' as dirty impurity of female body and hence act harsh to laboring women
And in old era also, women died in childbirth not due to 'Biological process' but due to 'Negligence and harsh abuse and lack of proper care or guidance in childbirth only', in old world, women were made to give birth in eastern nations in dirty 'Broken unclean huts with cold air and dust around away from home, cos childbirth was seen as pollution and lots of women died off infection cos they were exiled to dirty dusty huts to birth like even today in Nepal, old world midwives used to beat a labouring woman if she screams during labor pain cos even women had skewed image of female, also In Europe male barbers used to use 'Sharp Woodcutting knives to cut woman's pelvisv rampantly without her comsent grab babies if her labor is long , and huaband do not want to wait and her husband were in hurry to see baby, often royal women wg. A king's wife were forced to give birth in room with open door with unknown male soldiers staring at her which made her stressed, blood pressure rises and 'Might lead to risks'
These old world 'barbaric Bad abusive treatment of laboring women led to heavy mortality in old world , and home births was not a complete reason for death furing birth, the place where she will give birth was not reason cos place is just 4 walls. but abuse and negligence within any place's 4 wall during childbirth was main reason of maternal mortalities, today in hospital , same negligence is rampant leading to same levls of maternal mortality, be it hospital, home ir some palace, 'If a pregnant woman is harshly treated out of misogyny, she is likely to die, cos her body is vulnerable'.
