This is one of the most inspiring videos of MCM! I've watched this one several times together with the "how to reshell your car" and I can't stress enough how these videos really tell what MCM is all about. Makes me miss my days when messing around with my first car in dad's garage.
Also, clever use of music and voice-over makes things interesting. You should use more of this early background tune :)

Seeing where you guys are now really shows the effort that's gone into the channel over the years. You guys went from some regular car guys documenting their driveway mechanic adventures to professional level work and facilities and it's awesome to see the progress over the years. I forgot how great the early videos were before you had the facilities to do everything comfortably, well done guys

I feel so sorry for Marty. The guy saves up his hard earned money to buy a nice car, and then this happens. Poor guy, that car was perfect for him. Anyway he's gotten over that now and his new car are both awesome.

I just realized that this video was uploaded on my 21st birthday. That's awesome, this is one of my favorite MCM vids too. I love Marty's Subaru projects. Makes me want a Subaru for all the simple parts interchangeability.

7 years ago I watched this video and it sparked my interest in the MCM channel, not only that but his helped spark my interest in cars. I currently own a '00 impreza as a daily. MCM , Engineering explained, Regularcar reviews, Ericthecarguy, Scotty Kilmer, Chris Fix and Saabkyle5 just to name a few are in my opinion the best car channels on CZcams

Well you know for peformance i would get a nice gt wing, some sticky on hood scoop, a good flame paint job, some vents, straight piped exhaust, clear tailights, and some racing stickers.
don't forget to slam the car, give it as much negative camber as you can, and most of all warning stickers to make sure passengers know its a furious car

Hi,been driving a 20 year old Mazda 323 GLX station wagon for the last 10 years.Our 3 kids literally grew up in it.Apart from some rust issues cropping up now,great family car.
