In the webtoon, it was actually the technique he used that revealed his identity (they thought he was a fake or a fanatic), because gongpasul (forgot how they translate it) is almost exclusively taught by FUG instructors
It's crazy how I read like 500+ chapters and we barely scratching this show Holy
fr I remember I was trying to explain the lore of just one of the ten great families in TOG and my friend kept asking questions about that family. I had to calmly explain to her that we don't know yet and everything I told her was what was revealed over the course of 600+ chapters. Also that there were 9 (10) other families, Wolhaiksong, Zahard, the Revolution, FUG, etc.
I don't think even in the next decade the anime will catch up to the current webnovel. Since they adopted the modern release of 12-13 episodes per season. They would need to do what One piece has been doing for so long to have a chance.

As a webtoon reader i can honestly say we were waiting for season 2 because we finally get a good amount of action and it brings us to one of the most hype fighting scenes in the story.

Viole's number is very impressive for a Regular, however as shown in the Webtoon, Love gets a 13,200,000 by just casually tapping the tester. Viole still has a ways to go

@@TheM3nt0ss No, it was literally done before the test even began. Love was explaining the mechanics of the test and he just casually smacked the test thingamabob and it gave him 13.2 million. It was barely noticeable in the manhwa too. There is no return to this test after this, so no, it will never appear again unless they remake the entire second episode.

@Galaxyboy_01 no if anything her falling on it made her score lower than what it would be. Ones weight has 0 influence over their power, this thing measures a person's shinsu output. her scoring 20k despite falling and hitting it with her head by accident shows just how powerful she is compared to the other regulars . She probably would've gotten like 35 or 40k if she didn't slip

For anyone who is wondering, the technique viole used on the machine is called the floral butterfly piercing technique (alternative translation: flare wave explosion). The technique vibrates the shinsu within the targets body to such an extent that it ruptures outward. This is one of viole’s signature moves and it’s devastating. Most folks who take a direct hit from this move aren’t usually standing afterwards.
The only drawback to this move is that it requires direct physical contact for it to be most effective. If I remember correctly, viole can use a long ranged version of this but it’s not nearly as effective as the actual technique. If someone comes across a practitioner of this technique, their best bet is to zone them out with as many projectiles as possible and not let the user get close enough for contact.
This technique was developed and pioneered by FUG (this is why the examiner said FUG, because it’s their trademark), it takes decades to learn.
This information will be revealed after the 20th floor exam is over.
