- THERE WAS A FIRE AT ONE OF THE BEACH HUT'S AT MAMA ROSE PROPERTY...
It was a shock a few weeks ago when we suddenly saw smoke and the beach hut next to us on fire! Luckily, no one was there and the fire didn't spread. In this video, I share a little bit of what happened, and then, it is back to Philippines beach home province life! There has been a lot of rain, but on this afternoon... it cleared! And the guys went surfing in Baganga. I also went for a run and just enjoyed soaking up some Philippines Province life vibes!
Some old bakery bread turned into pudding, and Kumar gets back from renewing his driver's license...

As difficult as it may seem to most, everything and every experience in our lives serves its purpose. I feel remorseful to mama rose and am sorry for her loss of the building. There is always good in the bad if we can see through it. I’m sure this brought awareness to so many things in her life and also all of yours. Everything happens for a reason. Happy no one was injured ❤

Garbage food.
kulas change all ur bamboo fence to hollowblock concrete fence to serve as firewall. kawayan is very combustible and fire hazard.
As what Charles Swindoll said that “life is 10% what happens to you and 90% how you react to it”, and that’s how Mama Rose approaches life!😍
Kulas when you talk about the HEALTH and SAFETY , CANADA is the best you know that. You need to buy some FIRE EXTINGUISHER and set up in the kitchen and other corners. Just a friendly advice Kulas, have a good one buddy.
I clearly remembered the first time I encountered and watched a Becoming Filipino video. It was raining and I was in a computer shop, I had no phone that time and I spent almost an hour watching like its like I am travelling in places sa bansa natin 🇵🇭❤

the beauty about rain it gives you more waterfalls and you dont have to worry inwatering your plant. that is why Filipino call it a blessing from above. When i was kid we love it because we got to have the time to play in the rain.
Feeling bad for Mama Rose and family regarding the loss of the beach hut but glad no one was injured and the fire did not spread beyond it's walls. On another note, so glad to see the good vibes and positivity spread up and down the coast from the Beach Compound to the bar in Baganga and hopefully beyond. Power on!
I notice the river near the shores are clean no plastic and other trash.... really very nice place, they must have good solid waste management
U have to put up cctvs all over the place to monitor ur house. And try making concrete tiny houses instead since Kubos or nipa hut are highly inflammable, just a piece of match or anything that creates a lil fire/heat.

March is Fire Prevention Month. But every month and in every moment we should always be ready, for fire can happen at any moment even during rainy season. Having fire extinguishers ready can be of big help in case unwanted incident like that happens. Keep safe always!

Good morning Kyle, "KULAS", I'm so saddened by what happened to Mama Rose's A-frame nipa but it's a sad lost of investment that turn into ashes. My suggestion to everyone and all Kulas subscribers is to invest in fire extinguishers with the ABC classification. This a must invest in our valuable assets our house, I understand that each one of us builds our house for many years of planning and savings, and in an accident, as that fire occurs we have a fundamental weapon to extinguish a fire before flame consumes our valuables and turn it all into ashes. It is very heartbreaking that things like that happened uncontrollably. Invest in a fire extinguisher 2 or 3 of them.
My condolences.. as long as everyone is safe...it can be rebuilt..

Sorry for Mama Rose loss but good to know no one got injured during the incident. There's a reason for everything. Safety is more important. They can build again in the future. On the other hand it's almost summer the kids in Baganga enjoy a lot. When we see children playing it reminds us and give us good vibes that grateful we are because we still live even on lonely moments in our life.
Looks like it's more fun in the ocean than on the river. Madman! Kulas join him with your paddleboard. He looked lonely there.

You can probably paint your timber/wood house with fire retardant paint it helps not to spread the fire easily specially in the summer temperature can become extreme.
