I suggest you plant dwarf coconuts so you can harvest your own buko.
You are really the perfect Dive Tourism Ambassador, Finn. Thank you for loving your second home and accepting the culture.
❤❤❤
Agree 100%.
👍👍👍
Sherlyn is the real deal
Landscaping and digging holes for plants is more joyful than working out in the gym 🏋️♀️. How I miss that kind of exercise. I last just an hour in a gym here in Switzerland. While I stay whole day long in a huge garden. Pumping water manually, squatting to dig holes for bananas among other activities.
When I can't sleep in the evening I still work under the moonlight.
Something to watch... Philippine Marine Biodiversity. Philippine Ocean is full of wonderful stunning sea creatures.❤❤❤
Like74 WOW NA WOW !!!! Good luck both of you & Congrats ! More blessings to come mga lodi ❤❤
Maybe buy Bahay Kubo or cottage ( like in beach resorts ) for you to rest in the site and buy small solar for electric fan and light ✌️
Your underwater photography is so amazing! I never get tired of seeing it. Philippines is so amazing!
that's tulong Kay nature Para na rin sa climate change
One of my dreams is to be surrounded by nature and trees of course, just like you, but unfortunately we don't have enough space/land to plant them, so you and Sherlyn are very blessed indeed to plant anything you want in your spacious land. Not wanting to be repetitive but no other way to describe it, your underwater video/photography is just simply amazing, the marine species are absolutely a delight to the eyes. You guys really have the best of both worlds, on land and in water. Blessed are thou! Thank you for allowing us to be part of your lives. Stay safe and God bless.
WoW Finn a kiss on film! Your really loosening up 🤣!
Can't wait to see your future Home Sweet Home in the Philippines!
No skipping ads fin/she to support your chanel always.. God bless.
Ur looking good today couplè
Admire Finn and Sherlynn for your love of tree planting, just be careful of protecting your expose feet. Your house construction seems to be in order. God bless and and good luck!
Finn, correct me if I’m wrong, I think the Philippine Iron Wood Tree is called “Mangkono” which has a scientific name of “Xanthostemon Verdugonianus” while the Kamagong or Mabolo Tree in English is called “Velvet Apple or Velvet Persimmon” with a scientific name of “Diospyros Blancoi”. It’s all on Wikipedia. 🙂✌🏼❤️🇵🇭🇺🇸
Remember the strongest of a trees root system is as wide as its crown. So if a tree could grow 10 meters wide the tree should be planted 5 meters to the nearest wall and have the tree constantly pruned.
Awesome dive. Healthy coral reef loaded with beautiful and unique species.. showinng the best proof that we have the best destination.. 👏🙌🤙
I really appreciate and thank you for choosing to stay in the Philippines. You are a blessing to our beautiful Country and to so many Filipinos.
With a country this beautiful, the Philippines gives more meaning to us Filipinos as our home worth dying for. Thank you Finn and Sherlyn for loving and caring for our land and seas.
lol ure still my tree ambassador never saw someone who loves trees as much u
I just love watching this lovely couple. So nice and beautiful land you got planting more trees and fruit trees will make it cool.
My tip for you in planting that plants or trees will surely survive in that so dry ground, pour some water or a pail of water in the hole before planting the trees and water the top too..same as the vegetables and ornamental plants , the hole you dug keep it wet. It will surely grow even you dont water the new plants for several days.
There goes Finn the tree hugger and his tree fetish! Finn can now hv his fill in his own plot of land.
Wow, things are coming along! The Philippines is very fortunate to have you live in the country. You guys are the best!!!
Be mindful also of where you plant those big trees…you don’t want their roots to damage your property underneath when it’s full grown..some trees grow their roots outward instead of downwards…just a reminder…tell sherlyn to ask the knowledgable locals about them before finding the best spot to plant them..Enjoy your building process,be safe always..❤
Make a fast forward look of the property with the trees and plants overgrown; how close to the house and damage trees can cause during storms. You might end up cutting them in the end. Trees are beautiful as long as not too close to the house.
Not only roots damaging foundations but also falling trees during typhoon if not properly located around the house.
in my hometown in Cebu , when we see dogs eating grass & other plants it means they're not feeling well and they're self medicating.
❤❤❤
Happy planting 💪🇵🇭
Try agarwood and ( mango. Caymito. Langka. Etc )
Finn sherlyn.❤

Good Morning Finn and Sherlyn.
Excited for you both. Thank you for sharing.
I always get goosebumps when I watch your underwater footage. Always spectacular.
Beautiful drone footage. Excellent, you can help out the locals with work. It is all starting to come together. Have a lovely weekend
Can’t wait to see your house progressing
That sunset of friends and beer❤❤❤
Magic :)
Beautiful hilltop views and gorgeous underwater scenes..Best of both worlds!!❤️❤️ What more can you ask?🥰🤩
Talisay tree can offer shade, but you can't eat the fruit. Since lemons, lime and calamanci is expensive where we are, I have them in our backyard. We had pomelo that was already bearing fruit, I gave it to a friend. I have one navel orange that bears plenty of sweet juicy fruits around November-December. We have grapefruit, one pomegranate, five guavas (huge fruits--they call it guapple), and 3 varieties of dragon fruits. Your hardwork will be rewarded. A wide place to accommodate plenty of trees, vegetables and fruits in no time. Keep it up!👌😊🌹🌱🌿🌼
The underwater world is amazingly beautiful, thanks for sharing with us your tree planting and diving, take care finnlyn,God bless you both❤🥰🙏🙏🙏
Buying a property is an excellent way.
People will always need a place to live and work.
There is always a chance that your property investment will increase in value all over the years.
What a nice view building your house at hilltop with a lovelycouple, can i suggest, plants that keep mosquitos and flees away like oregano, lemongrass etc and plants a herbal too..
You should do solar to avoid electric bills and brown outs👍
100%
Good choice, maybe you could add some palm tree or related tree like coconut because it's roots can help on hilly from soil erosion.
Exactly! Coconut trees coming soon, tree of life!
Your video content is always exciting! Your home and planting trees around are making you too excited too. The dive with a beautiful “world” under the sea is awesome. Thank you for this video, really love your diving and the discoveries! So happy here for you and Sherlyn🤩🤗
The seminar is fortunately only 1 day in case you change your mind but the solar is a way better idea anyway. Sustainable and self reliant. Next thing will have to be collecting water from rain and you'll be all set. Live off the land and off the grid. You're living the dream!
Am completely amazed how beautiful the philippines underwater marine life has through your videos where i can see different undersea creatures ive never seen but in your videos theyre so amazing.thank you for the love you feel for our country.
I love seeing the two of you working together 💕

Thanks for including some diving video…those underwater creature and fishes my fav. eventhough I don’t swim I enjoy your underwater vlog. Take care as always…👍😍
I'm sure it will grow fast sir finn bcoz u put so much love and effort.
taliisay treei s like an umbrella when it grows up. so, if you need an area to be shaded, i recommend talisay tree. you google how it will look like when it full grown so can finally decide where to finally put it.
Wow❤The underwater shots of Turtle Island❤❤❤❤❤❤
You should have soak the soil first so that it's easy to dig😊
Oh my gulay cant wait for your farm house to finish with fruits and vegetables!! 🥗🥗🍲🍲👌👌😱😱😳😳🙏🙏👍👍🎉🎉🎉
Planting trees great help to our mother Earth❤️
It’s been a long time Finn. Last vlog I saw was the time when you and Sherylyn are parting together. I’m glad that you are back together and building life forever. I am very happy for both of you.
I'm so glad you're planting trees but that first tree you planted is root bound from the pot. Maybe you need to Google what to do with root bound potted trees before you plant them.❤ You can always pull it up fix the root system and replant it
The underwater footage was fantastic.
ganda ilalim ng dagat
fruit of the kamagong tree is called mabolo, one of my favorite fruits.
Such an exciting amusing time planting tree’s in your own (property)land.
Mother Earth will be happy too. Finn Snow

So nice to see you Finn and Sherlyn ♥️Definitely more trees in your land specially fruit trees would be a good addition .
It's good to plant trees specially those bear's fruit.
Wow! I learned anew... KAMAGONG tree is an IRON TREE. When i was a child we have that plenty in the forest of Negros Occidental. My father used to tell us that wood is best for making furnitures and house post and jammed. And it will stand for time. In our little barrio, there was a lumber company that produces different kinds of wood pieces for building houses. Maybe because of massive lumber, the logs on our mountains at Negros Occidental becomes dormant and denuded. That forced that logging company transfers its business. Our little barrio used to look like a lumber toys. It was common to see trains number 1 to 12 that traverse the barrio. Some carrying long logs from the mountain while other trains carrying finished product that some are packed some are rough, stocked to their storage. There was a huge cutting saw waiting for the log thrown to river and pushed by worker to its conveyor. These events was just a usual i can see in everyday outside our school room during recess and vacant time accross the company. Since my school situated on a hilly area, the view of that part of operation very visible. My story was last scenario during my elementary years. To proved my fact, one train used to carry lumber was on display at the city plaza of Sagay City, Negros Occidental. 🤣
Thank you for sharing that story!
16:20 love that spectacular sunset!❤
Planting tip for you. Wear eye protection, and use a gas-powered pressure washer with a 0° nozzle to carve through the soil for your plants
Do NOT spray anyone with a pressure washer it can cause a lethal water injection
Interesting, thanks for the tip!
@@FinnSnowVlogs You're welcome. I've used this technique to cut through sod like it was butter
❤❤❤
Finnsnow ❤🇵🇭
Morning keep safe
Oh wow! And I thought Kamagong was already extinct ....it's indeed a rare tree 🌳 and you should take good care of that tree 🌳, who knows you both might make money out of it if you can propagate a lot and sell them. Good luck on your house building 🏠 and God bless 🙌 🙏 you both❤😊
Viking mo more.Doing D rain dance after planting D Talisay tree,so funny dat IT made ME laught so hard.I also felt ur excitement and Joy .Power ON and good luck for all ur endeavores.Ur happiness s very contagious.God bless and may ur Love wtth each other(Sherlyn) last forever.
The mabolo fruit is from the tree whos wood is known as kamagong. Its not a very tall but a very strong tree.
Hi Finn it's very dry this time of the year maybe if you could wait until next month when it star to rain. Good luck with your planting your trees 😊
Talisay tree fruit is edible as well as medicinal.
Yes. Talisay is also my favorite tree. It gives the autumn feels because of its multicolored leaves specially during summer.
You have to plan Narra, white lawaan, yakal, molave and kamagong for wind breaker against typhoon
That’s a lot of work😅
On the road to self sufficiency.... farm to table! Power on you two!❤❤❤
So happy you are planting native trees
Speaking of bigger pot I need it too, thx sherlyn for reminding me ❤️
Wow kuya pinpin your dreamhouse is coming im so excited to see love love love
You can wet the places fro planting with lots of water first so you won't have a hard time digging. Then always put support for a few month so the trees won't fall down with the winds.
This is a suggestion, with your pick up if a proper spare tire doesn't come with one, then you can purchase a proper tire as a spare. You can buy a battery power tire inflator to inflate the flat tire so it will help in jacking up the pick up to make tire changing easier. I heard that Ford is pulling out of the Philippines. Would this cause problem later on?
You could make use of the tank to hold rain water after the construction. Looks like the soil soil in the construction site needs improvement for growing projects.
Hi Finn! The proper way to plant or transplant a tree from a container is to keep the top of the root ball level with the ground soil, not too deep. Bracing and cabling young trees are important too for stability and care during growth and to withstand strong winds.
Hope you have 🪴 it right , it is very important , or it will die, and lots of water and ❤
That has always been the conventional way of planting however, there is an indian docu of A person successfully reforesting an area (not the forest man video) digging a deeper hole and putting the plant ball deeper and topping it with soil at level of the root ball. This was successful because the roots are protected from the heat of the sun, water from the rain also goes to the hole, saturating the soil. Guess, this is a better method especially if you can not regularly water the new plants.
Excited about that house on the hill 👍😁, 8 ads watched
Please entice more Scandinavians to dive in the Philippines. The country deserves more income from tourism.
Afcourse solar if you have a budget , but if you don't then seminar is not so scary ! It's one hour of listening and that's it they give you a paper on the spot !
