To anyone else who is going to comment on the blinking lol you guys I don't know why it's happening, I'm stressing out about it (which is probably making it worse). I'm dealing with my allergies, have multiple air purifiers, multiple humidifiers, am taking eye drops every 30 mins likkkkeeee I don't know what to say! But as of now there's nothing else I can do until my docs clinic opens back up so it's either stop posting until I'm not looking like a maniac or finish everyday may 🤷🏼♀️
I'm sorry you are having this problem. I hope you feel better soon. Don't let the people commenting about it get to you. Finish everyday may. Do you. They can just not watch if its so upsetting. The majority of us are loving everyday may and look forward to your videos everyday. Take Care Lan!

I have dry eyes too and my doctors recommended systane ultra eye drops and it has made such a difference

I grew up in the 80’s, we wore bright blue eyeshadow, jet black eyeliner that we warmed up with a lighter and hair to the gods! I look back at picture and think to myself wtf was I thinking 😂😂😂
I hope this trend with recreating the first tutorial continues. It’s so interesting to see how much has changed and what has remained the same, to think about how much a person grows and the nostalgia we feel towards the products we use
I feel like Mac need to sort the animal testing issue out, then maybe they’d be more popular again? That’s the reason I stopped shopping them

What I loved about the two videos was that your humor hasn't changed! I could never perfect a winged liner either, so I always used the same technique as you. Lan, that grey sweater looks fabulous on you, its definitely your color. Also, your hair is GORGEOUS. And yes, your lips today have more symmetry with your face overall. Such a fun stroll down memory lane AND super educational. Lots of us get stuck in the style trappings of the era in which we learned how to do something like makeup, hair, etc. It's fun to poke at our younger selves, but explaining *why* a certain technique was not right and what's actually a better method is what really elevates this video from others I've seen in this same style of visiting past/first videos. Thanks for the insight!!

This video made me realise that it used to be easier to actually see your makeup in older vids! The setup you have now is obviously more profesh and looks lovely for chatty videos but makes it a little difficult to actually see the makeup application and end result in these types of videos 🤔
Anne Tidwell yeah I think you’re right. I think studio lights just kind of wash everything out and make it look a bit samey 😕 Makes sense and looks nice for talking videos but kinda defeats the purpose of makeup videos 🤷🏻♀️
