My friends and I have been made fun of our entire lives for our eye shape, and to see people “snatching” or “lifting” the eyes is just another example of double standards between races. Before you say, “nobody wants monolids,” or “its not the same,” remember how everybody makes fun of us by pulling at their eyelids. To get the front of my brows more subtle, I start further back and then do the front when there is less product on the brush.

clinique foundations (even better line) mixed with their moisturizer (dramatically different moisturizing gel) is an awesome combo too!!

Love this entire look and the dip brow looks great on you 💕!! My favourite makeup tips I actually learned from you! One is feathering out your brows with a fluffy eyeshadow brush for a more natural look, and the other is applying foundation with your hands, always looks so natural and fresh!!
Great tips Allana. I love the eyeliner technique. Beautiful. I wanted to let you know that I remember sometime back you were looking for the perfect orange lipstick. Elf Cosmetics just came out with some new lipsticks and the color persimmon looks right up your alley. Love you so much 😘
I've found that the best way to apply any cream product without disrupting what's underneath is to pick it up with the brush rather than apply it to your face then blend. Just run your brush over the bronzer and/or blush then tap it on. And your fingers to apply the highlighter!! It really makes a difference xx

I really love this! You did a great job and it was fun seeing you try out some new techniques! I do have a tip for the abh dipbrow; try wiping off as much product as you can from the brush and then go in. It helps from over applying and keeping the lines a little more hair-like and snatchural. Can’t wait for tomorrow! 💖

I always do my contour first before concealer, because I find that I like to really blend and buff out my cheek contour, and when I used to do the concealer first, I always found it got too dark under my eye, then I’d have to reapply the concealer. So I started cutting the first step, and now I wear less concealer and my contour is much more blended and soft!

Idea! Try taking the nose contour more on the bridge of your nose, instead of the sides. Like bring the lines closer together, on top of the nose in straight lines down. Love you lots Lan! Out here doing God’s work with EDM! ❤️

I have been mixing moisturizers and foundation, for science, quite a lot lately. I have found that the moisturizer you choose is very important. It shouldn’t be too thick or have a waxy base. I found that one of the best moisturizers to use is the Belif Aquabomb. It has a lovely thinner consistency and sheers out thicker foundations like a dream. I have been using it recently with the Estée Lauder Futurist Hydra something or other and it is gorgeous❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ and smells lovely too.
My favorite makeup tip is applying foundation and concealer with my fingers.. like it works flawlessly!! which I actually learned from you XD
