On the ingredients question...a recent discussion on ingredients that I think will be super helpful is one Jordan Samuel Skin chat with Stephen Ko, a chemist and formulator. They talk about ingredients list over analysis and how people dismiss ingredients without really understanding what they do or don’t by testing hem out. Bottom line if your skin likes it...it is ok. Highly recommend it.

My new favorite thing to say "Le shookethness." Thank you for putting a smile on my face. Not an expert but people with acne or oily skin tend to like products with alcohol denat in it because it has antiseptic /antibacterial properties. Usually has negative impact overtime and can strip and dry the skin. Also depends on where in the ingredients alcohol is listed at, sometimes used for the formula to dry faster , as a preservative, etc. so much more info on it to put it into a comment. ❤ @day.dreamer1

It doesn't, it is just used to dissolve ingerdients that won't dissolve in water or oil, but if you have dry skin, try to avoid products where alcohol denat. is far up in the ingredient list. (I am a Chemical engineer and skincare enthusiast :) )
I think it's more acceptable in makeup but i stay away from it in skincare
Giuliana Corallo drying alcohols help products to dry down or “set” ! I can feel them actually burn my skin sometimes so I avoid them altogether. Funny that Weleda Skin food which so many influencers use, contains Lanolin (irritating) and Alcohol (drying) but it’s supposed to be a healing cream 🤔

Denatured alcohol on its own can be very stripping and dehydrating, but when formulated properly with other ingredients it doesn't cause harm. Alcohol denat. evaporated quickly, so it helps with products feeling light on the skin. You don't want it as the main ingredients in most skincare, but it will not kill you! I hope this helps!

I’ve been so lonely during isolation, I caved and adopted an old ginger cat - best decision ever I might say 🐱 Fun fact: there is a chemical in the saliva of some cats which some people are allergic to! So when they groom themselves, they disperse this chemical throughout their fur and the aLLERGies are induced when we give them cuddles - potentially what’s happening with Meowryl 🐈 IG: sashaa_ng.
