Emotiva just released the long awaited first installment of expansion modules for the RMC-1 16-Channel AV Processor - a Balanced XLR input module and a Phone stage input for Moving Magnet (MM) and Moving Coil (MC) cartridges. Having support MC cartridges is unique for an AV Processor (or receiver).

Is it true emotiva processors are still plagued with issues? Would hate to spend $5k on a unit that I need to power cycle all the time so it works.
From the feedback I have read and heard a large number of the issues have been resolved. There are still reports that an occasional reboot is needed and the time to start up and switch between sources doesn’t compare to Anthem which is among for fastest.-Jon

It is nice when companies provide the option to install yourself or send to the factory. You are not alone in being reluctant to ship and have serviced by an unknown technician.-Jon
@@ripewave Hey. By any chance, is RMC 1 really support 13.5.10 channels? 28 channels? Is it true or false?
Which is the opportunity cost for RMC 1 without expansion slots? What is not available in XMC-2 when compared to RMC-1?
