Dzongsar Khyentse Rinpoche talks about Dudjom Rinpoche's sudden passing and gives precious advice especially to those who connected to Dudjom lineage. (Dudjom Sangye Pema Shepa Rinpoche, the incarnation of DJKR’s grandfather HH Dudjom Rinpoche, Dudjom Jigdral Yeshe Dorje, died at the age of 32 on February 15, 2022.)

PRAYER FOR THE SWIFT REBIRTH OF DUDJOM YANGSI SANGYE PEMA SHEPA RINPOCHE

Kuntuzangpo, omnipresent lord of the mandala
Lama Thodtrengtsal, embodiment of all the Buddhas,
Fearless Wisdom Vajra, beyond samsara and nirvana,
To you I pray with single pointed longing and devotion:
Please grant your awakened mind’s attention from your pure land of Ngayab Ling.
The dance of the second Buddha, Padmakara graced this world for but a short time in its amazing display,
before being reabsorbed so quickly into the basic space source of all emanation.
This is because the merit of us sentient beings is lacking.
Nonetheless, please arise again as the lord protector and friend of beings
who have wandered astray down the wrong path and in detours,
Please return as our guide, our captain, chariot of the Buddha’s teachings, clear light essence path,
and especially, as captain of the great secret, over the ocean of profound termas and long lineage, of the earlier and later Dudjoms.

The sudden dissolution of the enlightened mind of the supreme emanation Dudjom Yangsi Rinpoche for the benefit of beings in other realms is a great loss to both Buddhadharma as a whole and to its individual traditions. With immense sorrow, Thubten Chokyi Gyato, also known as Tsangpa Lhayi Metok, an ordinary disciple who has taken the profound treasures of Dudjom Lingpa to heart, wrote these words on the eighteen day of the twelfth month of the Iron Ox year, in response to the requests made by Spiti Tulku and other dharma friends.
敦珠法王迅速轉世祈請文
宗薩蔣揚欽哲仁波切 撰
遍主壇城依怙普賢王
諸佛總集上師顱鬘力
離有寂畏智慧金剛尊
我今至心專一敬祈請
自妙拂洲垂念無怙我
第二佛陀蓮花生大士
雖然暫顯奇妙遊戲相
卻又攝回化身基界中
此乃我等無福之所致
仍願護眾免入邪謬道
亦為佛法、光明精藏道
尤其大密前後二宗師
如海甚深伏藏之傳統
願再化現月容做商主
殊勝化身轉世仁波切驟然圓寂，此事對佛教各方面而言都是極大的損失，令人悲慟。因此，將敦珠林巴甚深伏藏奉為至要精藏的鄙人圖滇確吉嘉措、又名蒼巴拉宜美朵，乃按法友碧帝珠古（Spiti Tulku）等人之請，撰於藏曆鐵牛年十二月十八日（2022年2月19日）。敦珠貝瑪南嘉恭譯於二零二二年二月二十日。
