_____
This summer, the epic studio disaster movie returns with an adrenaline-pumping, seat-gripping, big-screen thrill ride that puts you in direct contact with one of nature’s most wondrous-and destructive-forces.
From the producers of the Jurassic, Bourne and Indiana Jones series comes Twisters,
a current-day chapter of the 1996 blockbuster, Twister. Directed by Lee Isaac Chung, the Oscar® nominated writer-director of Minari, Twisters stars Golden Globe nominee Daisy Edgar-Jones (Where the Crawdads Sing, Normal People) and Glen Powell (Anyone But You, Top Gun: Maverick) as opposing forces who come together to try to predict, and possibly tame, the immense power of tornadoes.
Edgar-Jones stars as Kate Cooper, a former storm chaser haunted by a devastating encounter with a tornado during her college years who now studies storm patterns on screens safely in New York City. She is lured back to the open plains by her friend, Javi (Golden Globe nominee Anthony Ramos, In the Heights) to test a groundbreaking new tracking system. There, she crosses paths with Tyler Owens (Powell), the charming and reckless social-media superstar who thrives on posting his storm-chasing adventures with his raucous crew, the more dangerous the better.
As storm season intensifies, terrifying phenomena never seen before are unleashed, and Kate, Tyler and their competing teams find themselves squarely in the paths of multiple storm systems converging over central Oklahoma in the fight of their lives.
Twisters features an exciting new cast, including Nope’s Brandon Perea, Sasha Lane (American Honey), Daryl McCormack (Peaky Blinders), Kiernan Shipka (Chilling Adventures of Sabrina), Nik Dodani (Atypical) and Golden Globe winner Maura Tierney (Beautiful Boy).
From Amblin Entertainment, Twisters is directed by Lee Isaac Chung and is produced by Oscar® nominee Frank Marshall (Jurassic and Indiana Jones franchises) and by Patrick Crowley (Jurassic and Bourne franchises). The screenplay is by Mark L. Smith, writer of the Best Picture nominee The Revenant. Twisters will be distributed by Universal Pictures domestically and by Warner Bros. Pictures internationally. - Zábava
Nearly 30 years after the original and I highly suspect that the originals special effects will look more realistic than the over-the-top cgi that we get nowadays
Agreed
i love how this trailer dropped while we’re having a irl outbreak of tornadoes
Bad timing lol
Mother Nature wants to see Twisters
Planned 🙃
@@realwomanclay902 excuse me?!?
Great promotion
Lets be honest both movies are literally a ram marketing tactic and its working
I feel like i have just watched the whole film with this trailer..
Right 😂

Thank you!!
So she's 100% Helen Hunt and Bill Paxton's daughter, right?
That's what I'm hoping for the story behind it
@@SteveRussell1990 Doubtful. Her last name is listed as Cooper on IMBD.
I saw one with Helen Helen in it .I know about this one this they kid ?
Conceived on set during shooting if the original movie.
@OhioGuy82 yeah I saw that after I posted this as well. Unlikely but I suppose there could be a twist (no pun intended) where she's divorced and still needs to change her name back or something. Part of me just doesn't buy that the movie doesn't end with Helen Hunt pulling up in a pick-up and the girl being like "oh hey mom, check out how we're totally a connected story!"
Tornados are Gods way of correcting country music.
😂😂😂
Makes no sense
Someone had to say it.
Gotta watch this in theaters! No questions asked!!
This is awesome if your iq is below 90 & profoundly stupid if you aren't a complete doofus..
i can’t wait to see this movie!!!🌪️
I'll go see it. Won't be the same as the original. But it looks like a similar story. They could have at least worked in Helen Hunt as the matriarchal character. As the Aunt May character in the original movie.
“WE GOT TWINS!!!” Classic
From a navy pilot to a tornado chaser this actor is awesome 😎
Been waiting since the first one
As someone who is equally fascinated and terrified of tornadoes (due to ptsd from being in a tornado in a car and a few others) I wanna watch this.
Into the Storm 2014 is the tornado movie most ignored and forgot about 😅😂😊
We need Helen Hunt!!
And none of the original actors. Grant it. I realize some are gone now, but we still have a handful left
We don't know that yet. Movie trailers like to hide them until it's closer to release date
I swear to God I'll move heaven and Earth to see this film...
I’m lowkey excited to see it. I know the original can’t be beat, but I love a good disaster movie so I’m feeling good about this one
Ya know, I’m actually kinda feeling like they switched character bios here. In the OG, Jo was the crazy, somewhat reckless storm chaser with a death wish and Bill was the one who was “retired” and “level headed”. Now it seems like Glens character is the new Jo (reckless, a little cocky, and kinda crazy) and the girl is Bill (“retired”, careful, “level headed”, and reluctant).
Lol the special effects look like they could've been produced in 1999 😅😂
Welp, I just watched the whole movie here 😂
Hangman will come through.
Hope it’s not a remake and is set in same universe as first movie
So 500-1500lb objects are being tossed around but the people are good just standing around watching?
Never beat the original
Can't be any worse than the new Roadhouse
Go in with zero expectations and find out how much it improves your movie experience.
Sometimes remakes are good
This looks fun. Its not like the original is some untouchable work of art lol 😂 it was an awesome summer blockbuster about twisters, which this looks like its following up to be as well
I don't know this seems pretty badass. I'm excited for it.
This actually looks good
this better not flop
Why? Do you have money invested in it or something?
I’ll watch this for sure
I like the water tower scene
A remake we never needed or asked for.
Not a remake.
Its got so many similarities i highly believe it is@worldofdoom995
Let’s goooo!!!!
"It's the wonder of nature Baby!" Sure they'll never be able to beat Hoffman's "Dusty" character. But it would be cool if they got close somehow. I also would've liked to see Helen Hunt in some sort of cameo role. But movies aren't the best at doing that anymore. Seems like older actors are either given the cold shoulder by new studios nowadays, or they choose not to participate in these new movies. I'm still interested to see it though!
I am a fan of the first one. But I wouldn’t mind seeing this for sure.👍
I will listen for Luke's song!💥
Imagine being in that rodeo scene in irl😮
I'm still gonna see it
Actually, yes.
One question also remains…. Who’s gonna be this movies version of Aunt Meg?🤔
Looks like the best movie ever it's better than twister
What's the song in the trailer? Anyone know?
Aint no love in Oklahoma
Damm it looks sick
Let's get this out of the way, it Can't be compared to the Original.
That being said, from Trailer 2 it does look like it's going to be a Helluva Fun ride just like Into the Storm was.
As a Huuuge Fan of Storm Chasing TV series and Tornadoes in General I can tell you now....
I'm probably going to love this, so chill ya'll and just enjoy a movie about Tornadoes :)
Looks familiar
Dolby cinema amc I'll be there
Lol... Mr cowboy can stand there while the wind blows a freaking trolley around. Skip.
Reed timmer
Why re-upload it?
str. Smartest person I know. (00:45)
I hope the soundtrack is actually the soundtrack for Twisters. There was an insane period of time the “Offical” soundtracks didn’t have any of songs.
Twister was one and Speed
The original was made over 20 years ago and was not popular enough to deserve a sequel. Why now? How many people will watch this? Between the remakes, reboots, woke nonsense and loud mouth politics in movies, i don't understand how Hollywood expects to make a profit. Whatever, seems like a huge risk for what looks like a giant budget.
Daddy my hat blew off
I hope your g0d@mn head was in it!
This trailer is 100% drums.
🌪️ツイスターズ!!😅💦
remake
Not the same
Not the same without Bill Helen Philip
1996 all the way
So the 3 tonne truck gets sucked up into the air yet 50 metres away people are running away no problem?? I guess its no worse than a fire tornado or fireworks tornado 😂😂😂
The original Twister from Spielberg is so much more better...
I prefer to keep my tornado stories in a King of the Hill episode thank you very much! Like the time hank told the story of why he didn't have any cowboy boots. "You know, Mr. Holloway, I once had a pair of boots. And, uh, and then one day, my Uncle Fess lost his in a tornado. Yup, a big Texas-sized twister, I tell you what. Well, that dang twister sucked his boots plumb off. Well, you can't bury a man in his stocking feet, it's the cowboy code. So I gave him my boots. And that's the story of what happened to my boots."

^^^ Hey look, you're audience showed up.
@@zacharymastrangelo7452 bored?
They always want to fix what was never broken. Re create your own blockbuster hits like the 90’s achieved instead of ruining iconic films. Azzholes😒🕴🏼
Me seen this and just came today from Oklahoma City
As someone who treasures movies from the 80s and 90s, I notice that nowadays, the music in these trailers all sound the same.
You know, those big, thunderous orchestral hits and samples that are the same in every action trailer?
It's like they try so hard to make it sound epic that it has the opposite effect.
I'm like yeah, yeah, I get it. Huge big fast powerful awesome epic blah blah blah.
Sorry if I sound like a hater, but that music is just too much, and it's being done the same way by everyone else, making it sound both generic and annoying at the same time.
Edit: still looks pretty good despite my comments about the music. I'm gonna check it out in theaters and give it a chance.
No one cares
@@RatBonez11 thanks for reading and commenting
@@osirismaximus2787 No problem. It wasn't the least I could do, but close.
I would rather watch my toe nail growing than watch this film. And anyone who goes to see it should never be allocated to serve on a jury or drive a car.
Too far from old 05/10/1996
Part one was good 1997,
let’s hope part 2 guna be better!! 😅
who wants to watch 2024 ?
Just updated CGI. The original will be the best.
Oh my GOD can they not come up with anything original and/or not part of some stupid formula? Dumb dumb dumb…
A street car? Seriously? This is the epitome of Facebook science reinforced for the people who think movies depict real life.
Couldn’t pay me to watch this crap
Ribut angin.
So its a remake of the first? Looks terrible
🙄🙄 is Hollywood just out of original ideas??
Okay people give this movie a chance. It’s not gonna be the original, but it clearly is trying to do something fun! It has its own cool album, clear comedic tones just like the original with drama and action, the cgi looks cool and the story looks decent enough. Let’s stop shitting on a movie that’s not even out yet that will probably end up being a really fun time! The original is easily in my top 5 favorite movies of all time so I’m trying to stay optimistic here!
Unoriginal horseshit from hollywood. Riding of the coat tails of old movies. Hollywood lacks originality.
I didn't see the cow show me the cow
Original twister is better
Looks lame.
In angers me when a movie production exploits innocent animals for their films. The opening scenes in this trailer is yet another disgusting example of this.
In this day and age, there are creative alternatives to using live animals in film production. Shame on any movie that doesn't go this compassionate route.
This looks horrible
Nope
Not only does this look terrible. I felt like I watched the whole movie and that Spanish actor is trash. I hated him in transformer film
Wow actually zoned out a little watching this. Pretty dull and sloppy trailer compared to the first one.
This looks SOOOOOOO BAD!!
Terrible acting, terrible music. "Twins Twins" is that the only take you had? 🤦
Wtf is this crap. I just wasted a couple minutes of my life I won't waste an hr and a half for the movie. Hollywood has lost their minds.
Doesn't look great. I'll stick with the original.
