is this direct recording to your computer?
Absolutely beautiful video, exactly what I was looking for.
Wow a minute in sounded amazing! Very impressed.
Dude you’re an absolute BEAST on the bass man!! Great demo thank you
beautiful demo
Never mind the pedal. Playing was excellent! Tasty licks.
thanks for playing the clean sounds also.
Zoom is a big surprise as always ❤love it
Awesome basslines!!!
Woww so nice!
Awesome video. Thanks
That pedal is HOT🔥
Awesome!!! Thanks great video
Not expensive for what it is, I would recommend!
I like the soft pad
I’ve definitely enjoyed this demo. Question: what bass did you play? It somehow reminds me of my Squier Vintage Modified Bass Six.
same question
Looks like a great practice tool
I got the B1on; I bought it as a practice tool, but I ended up using it on every rehearsal and gig. Compressor+noisegate always on and then overdrive or special FX for a couple of songs. These affordable Zoom boxes are suitable for gigging as well in my experience.
Zoom are the best of you're on budget... They have this clearity like the analog ... Unlike the Digitech n Vox etc...e tried them all but now I'm stuck using the zoom g3xn which is a beast... Live shows no problem
Are the delays and reverbs any good? Amp sim isn't that difficult for modern multifx units (my b1on is still totally usable) but time based effects sometimes aren't that great in cheaper units.
Se puede hacer para que mi bajista suene como segunda guitarra más bajo?
Are the volumes of each preset already balanced or did you have to fix em on the amp every switch?
Is this also amp+cab sim or you are using a separate amp?
Good effect soud Bass 👉😉👍
How this might sound with 6-string fretless bass?
que video tan increible al grano
can I use with electric guitar ?
What's the melody of the AnalogCho part?
Wow that's impressive, I'm going to get one of those cheap monsters
Can you make a nice clean bass amp suggestion for practicing at home? For the demo in the video, are you connecting the output directly to a recorder (like PC perhaps) or are you using any intermediate amps?
The first patch to me sound preety decent for clean sound .
If you need a low wattage amp for rehearsing at home, there are quite a few options depends on your taste but i love the 80watt wbc80 from warwick... I'm currently using the hartke HD50 cause it was waay cheaper at the time...
I’d recommend the fender rumble 40 or 100
I got the Peavey MAX 100. It’s cheaper than Fender and sounds good to me.
God the wah reminded me of cliff instantly
Definitely has that vibe.
the thing also has a built in cliff tone not shown in this video haha
Already commented on this video from another channel. What I am considering doing is purchasing one of these and plugging it into the aux input of a Bluetooth speaker. It will be my travel tool when I play electric guitar on the go, as well as a bass guitar processor.
Such a great idea! I love it!
I have since tried it, @@ignaciovela8065. It does work.
Is there a whammy effect?
What amp you got?
what song was played at 0:27??
Is there a harmonics effect? Something that would change my tone like the HD1500 does? Thanks
Does this work for acoustic guitar too? Can I play clean sound with it? Or is g1x the right choice?
Why would you buy an Bass pedal for a acoustic guitar Man?
is this more ideal than having a pedal board?? im kinda low on cash here...
i´ve been using zoom products since i started playing bass (19 years back) and i tell u, ALWAYS is going to be better have a smaller compact and nice multi effect pedal effect than a HUGE pedalboard, it is very functional when u are playing with a new band and u need to setup a kind of effect quickly for any song u never played before.... think for a second if it´s possible to do the same whit the limited (in effects) analog pedalboard? so, for me always gonna be better a multi effect than a traditional old and huge pedalboard! that my opinion! ... some people can say something about sound quality but THAT´S BULLSHIT ... people say the same when line 6 just release the PODxt and nobody realize that every single band in that time was using it for live and studio purpose SOOOO!!! IN CONCLUSION GO AHEAD!!! BUY A ZOOM B1X
@@YosbelOropeza Distortion sounds a little digital, but for the money, it's a great item and unless you're a pro, it's something you can look past.
Yes it's ideal. Works great when the bar owner is trying to kick the band out of the bar. It's easier to pick up than a whole chain of guitar pedal
I’m inclined to say that this is pretty ideal, especially since I have never owned a dedicated bass multi effects processor (though I have used one or two Zoom guitar units) and I’m thinking of making this my first.
I imagine the distortion could be tweaked a little to make it sound more realistic, @@andrewkeats8247.
Can someone who owns this device tell me if I really can get the sound I hear on 0:34? Fender Rumble 40 + Korean 5-string bass + ErnieBall Power Slinky strings. Please confirm someone.... + ZOOM B1 on its way ...:D
It sounds like slap, if you know how to slap yes.
Yah.. i use rumble 100 and that sound is desame..
If you create a effect, can you create a wah wah effect?
Yup
It’s got both manual wah (which was demoed) and envelope filter.
Comprei uma fonte 9v e não ligou
Can you share the settings of those sounds with me..??
It looks like they are pre-made patches
It has 50 preset sounds. Should be 49 bc "explosion" is idiotic.
actually has a decent drum machine who would have thought?
Zoom doesn't mess around.
But the drum loops are really ok
Does it output stereo sound? Because it sounds mono on your demo.
It’s apparently supposed to output stereo. He’s only using one patch cable though.
I got the pedal. The mini jack input is stereo, the output is stereo but the loop station outputs mono sound. I'm very impressed with the pedal, incredible value.
Wat is the 2nd bass line?
Sounds kinda like I can’t go for that by hall and oates
Sounds like Sanctified by Nine Inch Nails to me
does it work also for guitars?
the zoom G1x four is the made-for-guitar version if you havent found the answer yet
Does anyone have this pedal, and is it good pedal
I love it! I had previously bought numerous pedals trying to get a good sound as a lead bassist. I wish I had know of this pedal months ago and saved myself money from all those other pedals.
Hi, I have a steinberg audio interface and I use that to connect my bass to garageband or cubase to edit my sound but it's hard to work with it and I don't like the outcoming sound. Also my guitar is Ibanez gsr180 and its own sound is so dull and boring. If I buy this processor will I really get a better sound than my own setup? I'm new to this digital world so if someone can explain I'll appreciate it.
You get a ton of effects and tone shaping tools that can make you sound great. If your sound is dull eq, drive or some other effect could help
Yes, my bass sucks and I get some awesome sounds
Use other vst like Darkglass from neural dsp.
Are we able to use this to record a basa guitar?
You’ll need an audio interface to record. This is just a multi effects pedal.
Yes it has a high quality basic looper on board watching the whole video
I'm really annoyed that I can't turn the pedal off. I have to plug it in and unplug it when I want it on/off. And if it is off it isn't true bypass so I can't play with it just all the way off when it is in my pedal chain. Am I missing something?
Did you try putting it in bypass/tuner mode?
@@shawnrurodenm3640 Yes but again you still have to plug it in to get to that point. There is no on/off.
Oh, you thought it was true bypass like to say if your batteries got drained....I don't believe I know of any multi effect pedal that does that, otherwise I wouldn't know why that would bother much having to unplug it
It isn't true bypass because you're supposed to have it on every time you play. Also, multi effect pedals aren't really at home in a chain unless you just use it as a tone shaper... because you could just have a drive pedal, reverb, chorus as individual pedals, in which case you could just get a pre amp and call it a day... These are stand alone pedals since they have everything, but some people do have creative uses for them on their pedal board.
@@shawnrurodenm3640 how do I put it in tuner mode?
$$ que valor tiene para Colombia
120 USD
How does it sound compared to the b1on? I have that pedal and, not having the same gear, I'm wondering if it's enough of an upgrade to get this one. Any thoughts?
One of the reasons in thinking of switching is that some of the effects lack clarity and sound a little too electronic.
L
You should keep the b1on as well as get the b1xfour. I love my zoom pedals. As far as upgrade, it looks as if it is easier to retrieve effect parameters more quickly. These are the music worlds best kept secret. I don't find new zoom pedals at any of guitar centers stores including music and arts. If they were to sell these in the open it would hurt the sale of the BOSS effects. That's not a dig against BOSS/ROLAND, I love their gear as well but for the sake of cost....ZOOM is awesome!
B1x/b1 four got B3K effects on it, can't wait to try it!
@Terms and Disagreement cool. It sucks that there isn't more stores to carry these pedals. For real, zoom products are par with the competition and even better in some areas. I have wondered about those stomp box zoom multi pedals. Better sound processor sounds like a plus , I'm only wanting something that can help me create a sound, but not just a sound. My sound. Hey, why not ? Trent Reznor could bang out jams on a Zoom.
Bang for the buck they are a force and if I were a mom and pop shop I would carry this brand product. I believe Zoom is about music and recording and they again are a force. Just my opinion
@@shawnrurodenm3640 The G1 Four has amp/cab sims that rival multifx pedals costing 4 or 5 times more.... the effects are also great and the fact that you can add/delete amps/effects and modify your patches on the computer with the software is another plus. Yet another plus is the ability to power through wall adapter, batteries or USB, like a phone charger, to a computer or portable USB power bank. Amazing value, live, in a mix/recording or playing solo through headphones or an amp/direct sounds great.
does it work as audio interface?
no
Is there much use for the pedal?
Great de o
can i use this for Guitar
The have a similar series specifically for guitars. This is zoomB1. You wanna look for zoom G1 onwards
I think I feel a phone call to Sweetwater coming on...
Is there high note octaver or only low note ? Thanks
There are controls within each effect. There’s also a pitch shifter which goes octave up.
@@RHINOSAUR Thanks
Quem é q está tocando ?
Compelling
.
Due to it's 16bit processor lag... I wouldn't record with it.
But live (with a drunken audience)... Definitely, yes.
If you have a really cheap audio interface and slow pc/daw then yes. I record with the G1 Four without any problems, through an M-Audio MobilePRE USB preamp audio interface that is going on 14 years of use into a 10 year old Mac Mini and into Garageband 10.3.4. Old stuff and no issues.
Hmmmm, i hear only noice and the sound not really good. I still had the b2 was ok but only the standard sounds. Like all cheap effekt pedal. 99 Prozent is useless noice
Have your system checked - this pedal is one of the most quietest around- no noise or unwanted sounds I can hear...
