The Death Korps are the worst opponent for Khorne, Nergle and Necron forces. Those forces rely mainly on terror tactics, which don't work on the Death Korps.

There needs to be some sort of commissioned artwork for of Vraks gate 579-459 done. The scene of god engines firing into chaotic infantry as they sprint down the hill to engage in bloody melee, as the Kreig fire volley after volley to stem their tide, only for Khornate berserkers to rip and tear till their very weapons break down. That, would be a harrowing warscape to look upon.
I legit shed a tear when Kagori died
I presume that the idea of opening the gates to go meet the enemy head on was the idea of the Beserkers.
