    This is calming. Your voice, the way to color. I think this is what coloring is.

    I think you are awesome! I always learn. So much from watching and listening to you. As an artist I love the variety of media you use and hearing you discuss home is quite comforting. Please continue.

      Cotton- they never say which part of the plant they use, so I wonder if it could be the stalk fibres or something.

    Beautifully done! I am looking forward to following your video on transferring drawings on paper. Very often I find myself wanting to practice on a copy before going to the original piece...

    Henny, Congratulations on your singing in in Delft! I am sure you were superb since you are always so humble. Hopefully, your husband and family were able to attend. The paper looks lovely and the colors seem so bright. You are an inspiration. Thank you, Diane

    This is beautiful and I love this demonstration! Please do a video about transferring images to different paper types. That is will be very informative and something I would love to know how to do. Thank you for sharing your talent! :)

    Try the back side of the paper. . . looks like the texture is too much. needs a lot of effort and color to cover those spots

  • @geraldeneirisgussin5929

    Lovely, enjoyed this leaf colouring.

    It looks lovely paper henny, it’s also supposed to be very good for graphite another area I’m into along with coloured pencils, I thin I will put it on my wish list. Thankyou for sharing this

    Just a guess......paper is made from pulp of whatever type of fiber they are using vs fabric is woven threads? I so love your videos. I look forward to each and every one! Absolutely hypnotized.

    Very nice paper for layering, I wanted to ask if you can draw on both sides of this paper and get the same result, or is there a special side to draw on that looks better? Thank you

    I'm not liking that tooth showing so clearly. Hmm...more layers might fix. Or a blender (like CDs) I wonder how it holds up to solvent. In any case, great review... im intrigued 🤔

    Thank you for presenting this drawing in real time and also mentioning the colors . I have a set of Faber Castle Pitt pastels pencils and I can't seem to find the right paper . They are quite chalky . What would you recommend? Thank you

    Great review! I’m new to colored pencils, are you able to do drawings on both sides of this kind of Bristol? Or only the 1 side?

    Hi would this paper be too thick to go through a normal printer ?it looks so nice .

    • @hot4hypatia
      @hot4hypatia Před 5 lety

      Hi, I haven't tried this yet, it is pretty expensive, but a nice printer paper available at Amazon is Neenah Exact Vellum Bristol, 67 lb, 8.5 x 11 Inches.
      It is only about $8.50/250 sheets and works in my HP inkjet printer and my Brother laser printer, although it curls up a bit in the laser printer.
      I get mine at Office Depot.

    I also think about fabric when I see that the paper is made with cotton 😂

  • @addpuppets9326

    yeah. . .lol been there . . . it didn't work for me either. so furstrating finding the right paper that suits your technique. need to spent a mini fortune to get there. Art supplies are no cheap. I ordered art tools but couldn't use some after I tried them or find out they're not satisfactory to the work I do. Research, research, research. . . can't stress that enough. And what it's not good for one artist might be good to the other. So better not depend on the judgement of a CZcamsr artist.

    This vellum paper leaves far too many valleys of white spots for any serious pencil artist to use without using a solvent or oil to blend the colours yielding a homogenous result.

    • @shelaghsisson7019
      @shelaghsisson7019 Před 5 lety

      Jay Dee I am fairly certain that there are serious pencil artists who might prefer a different result! Anything goes in art! Me, I like Bockingford for almost everything.
