Yes, the holiday returns once more with the celebration of this new spooky themed video since Halloween is so close by. 60 chapters into Kinnikuman 2011, there's no doubt about it, it's one of my favorite series/franchises ever, was really happy when i got the notification for this vid
That's a good feeling to have. 2011 is impressive in how it excels with old characters while making it feel fresh with the Perfect Choujin & later adversaries. A new anime needs to happen.
Kinnikuman is a great early example of shonen escalation from comedy to seriousness. While it looks like it never loses it's comedic core (Which I consider a good thing) they really up the ante later on!
So goofy when it first started, but now Kinnikuman has gone in new directions but I assume it'll reach a conclusion. I don't know what Yudetamago can do after facing the Choushin.
Talk about Perfect Timing Brother, had no Idea that "Kinnikuman" was the Mortal Kombat before the actual MK series was a Thing.

Demon Seed really proved Kinnikuman can become dark as hell.Hell,even some of the characters are scary/disturbing enough they deserve their own horror movie.
I feel a good couple of anime villains could hold a horror story. And as I'm typing this we're getting a DB suvival horror game with Imperfect Cell called Dragon Breakers.
6:46 I know this moment is supposed to be chilling to the viewer, but I find the image of the top left Devil Knight having to dramatically hold up Mountain's big ass head with both hands amusing.

Old anime are bizzare. They do the goofiest comedy but because back then the boundary is pretty lax so we get crazy gory scene once in awhile
The bizarre qualities is what I like about it. End Of The Century Leader Takeshi is another one that has drastic shifts in tone with every arc.
I wish Medicos Entertainment got the Kinnikuman's license back and so they could relaunch their SAS line, some of the SHFA just looked chubby rather than muscular.
The SHF look kinda thin to me & it too seems to have stopped the line. I don't have any of the Kin Medicos but the muscles seem to pop out a bit more. I've been wanting Mattel to pick up the license as their latest revival with Masters Of The Universe has been doing well.
The way you seriously describe these completely absurd events keeps me coming back to this video again and again. There really isn't another franchise quite like Kinnikuman.

well, technically you could say his parents gave him his arms as a kid or taught him to steal others arms.
I personally think the scene where Ramenman turned Brokenman in the anime into noodles were more horrofying than half the list. Supposed censorship to the manga version.
Maybe in defence of Satan being taken down by thunder and lightning, is that lightinng is a natural element of our plain, where Satan is a spiritual element which (now I know this is a stretch) according to eldrich horror rules, has a weakness to nature. Not the best guess, and a stretch at best, but only thing I got
It's a fine guess. Despite being named Thunder & Lightning they don't actually have those kinds of powers. Instead, they affect themselves & the environment through time manipulation. They also release a smoke referred to as Exotic Matter which cause the time manipulation. So anything goes I guess. At the time, there were only 3 Time Chojins in all of Kinnikuman so the rules of their abilities probably weren't set in stone as the current chapters have brought forth more Time Chojin.
HOnestly, this is a good list, but nothing could compare to Akuma Shogun revealing himself.
I like how depraved things got in Kinnikuman Nisei Demon Seed Arc.

In the last few years two fansubs groups called SaikoNoFansub and Southern Cross no Fansub have started to translate the entire Toei anime into spanish as well as upscaling the video quality, they have done half the series (out of order as of now) but they're slowly getting there.
Thanks. 😀 I was surprised seeing episodes of the Throne arc which is nearly done. I'm still grateful that Kinnikuman 2011 manga has been translated consistently along with the Nisei ultimate tag arc. The tag stuff is also missing segments but it's better than trying to read it several years ago.

I need to get back into lifting weights. I stopped for about a month or two. The villainy in Kinnikuman has always impressed me. There's so much carnage in this comical world of superheroes. The tone completely changed when the Akuma Choujin stepped into the pages of the Kinnikuman manga. And I'm glad they play a big part in the 2011 material.

Happy Kinnikuman Day! Let me tell ya we'll only get two of those next year with the only months with a Friday the 29th being in April and July. God this series is just so bizarre, random, and mind blowing and twisted...I love it! Happy Kinnikuman and Happy Halloween. I was this series had more attention internationally as this was the inspiration for Dragon Ball, Yu Yu Hakusho, FullMetal Alchemist, Fairy Tail and many other series even the series that were inspired by these series like Naruto, One Piece, and Bleach all had inspiration from Dragon Ball and those series inspired others so its like Kinnikuman is the godfather/top branch of action anime/manga so no Kinnikuman, none of these series would exist! Yet its only popular in East Asia but has little to no popularity world wide.
The popularity could've remained if 4Kids ever released more Ultimate Muscle episodes to home video. Only 1 volume of 4eps was released. Or at least reaired the series on cartoon network. It was doing very well when it aired over here but I also feel Mattel should attempted to do more with it in the same way Hasbro did when importing Transformers or when Saban got Power Rangers.

Are the pictures taken from Ultimate Muscle volume 26 to 29 at 8:28 from your own collection, or do you have scans of them ? Because if you have scans of them I would be really glad if you could share them with us, I think that a lot of peoples would like to fill the gap in the current translation of Nisei :)
Sorry, they're from my collection. I was taking photos of them. I got a new printer but haven't figured out how to make scans appear in my laptop. I also realize that an Ashuraman video on those vols is long overdue.

He likely is. Although in Ultimate Muscle Demon Seed Arc they both are treated as the same character. Not sure if its an error in translation, a deliberate change in Viz translation, or Yudetamago themselves were making changes.
