    Undereye fillers are kinda flawed because they're made of hyaluronic acid so they draw water in which can make your under eyes look puffier.
    Also if you do get undereye filler, make sure not to get it refilled on a set schedule. It stays in the body for a long time (even over a decade) so if you just keep filling it without paying attention, it can start looking really bad.
    Alternate options for treating the under eyes:
    - surgery to remove excess skin
    - thread lifts (threads placed in the face that are pulled to give a lifting effect and as they dissolve, it promotes collagen production)
    - PRP (platelet-rich plasma that comes from your blood is injected to help smoothen and rejuvenate your under eyes)
    - obviously, diet, sleep, stress, skincare like retinols and sunscreen are very important
    PRP is also really good to bring some colour to your lips and smoothen and plump the lips. If you notice your lips are looking duller lately because of age, this is a very good option and it looks totally natural, unlike regular fillers.

    Honestly, I got under eye filler in 2019 when I was 23 as well. It was the best decision I ever made. To this day the results have managed to stay in my face!! I went to an ocuplastic surgeon in nyc for this, who also has a high client satisfactory rating across all in-office procedures. It definitely does not age the face and it works if done well. The product hyaluronidase is an incredibly powerful enzyme which will dissolve your own body’s natural hyaluronic acid and should only be used conservatively in extreme cases of swelling or filler migration. This patient really did not need this product used under her eyes as the result of her fillers were flawless. The rest of her face did look overfilled however.

      I'm sorry to hear. Try using concealer and a translucent press powder afterwards under your eyes to cover up it up. Have you ever tried cold cucumber slices to help with the puffiness in the morning?
      I have been trying to warn people about these med spas for years without any success. I never had anything done to my face and never will because I am familiar with this industry's history from over 15 ago. These med spas are incredibly reckless in my opinion. They are a product of social media infleuncers in cahoots with the med spa businesses. And also the plastic surgery industry allowing "non-invasive" procedures to be taken out of the Doctor's offices and done by med spa owners who are usually a nurse or an esthetician. Med spa workers are generally not doctors with 8 years of medical training and a medical license they are in fear of losing or concerns about lawsuits.
      Over 10 to 15 years ago, you could not get botox or filler anywhere, but with a licensed plastic surgeon (MD) or a dermatologist (MD) and most of these board certified doctors at that time were unwilling to do any of these procedure until they tried other remedies first like changing the skin care products to higher end products, suggesting high end makeup lines (yes they sold high end makeup at the doctor's offices) to cover concerns on the face, prescription skincare creams, microdermrasion treatments, chemical peels, or other type of low risk facials first. A lot of them would not dream to do botox and fillers on women or men in their 20s, 30s and 40s as the risks were high, they aren't going to make a person instantly beautiful, and they were not willing to lose their medical license for a few hundred dollars 15 years ago.
      With the rise of these med spas, which are poorly regulated, I've noticed some doctors (plastic surgeons and dermatologists) are now willing to do stuff they would have never done 15 years ago in order to compete with med spas. The whole industry is becoming reckless and negligent. I wish these doctors associations would put an end to this and lobby their state governments to put these med spas out of business.
      Even these cosmetic dentistry butchers (ie shaved down teeth with chiclet white veeners), but apparently people are going to Turkey for this type of medical mutilation. This all gives me a sick feeling of a Dr. Frankenstein hack job.
      These procedures (botox, juvaderm, restaylyne, other fillere etc) are invasive in my opinion because they are using a medical need to inject a foreign substance directly into your face. These injectables can destroy your natural facial aesthetic and harmony and ruin your skin texture. Worse they can cause medical issues like paralysis, clots, infections and other medical problems. The other aspect that people do not talk about as often is the psychological damage caused to an individual such as depression, social anxiety and suicidal ideations from having a botched face that cannot be fixed. It's just so wrong on so many levels.

    **I got my filler dissolved** I did a lot of searching about dissolving filler and much like everyone else, theres a lot of scary and bad stories out there. I was really torn on getting my filler dissolved or not but I was confident in my doctor and I took the risk and got it done. I had had filler 4 times in 4 years (2 syringes June 2019 and 2 October 2022). I felt overfilled and puffy and wanted to look "normal" again. If you go to RealSelf its full of terrible reviews but I will say, I think a lot of it is unrealistic expectations. Here me out, before I got filler I took photos of myself so I know exactly how I looked 4 years ago. Getting filler dissolved you have to also understand you will look different in 4 years... I think people dont understand that part. Heres my experience: She pricked me a total of 5 times (3 one eye area, 2 the other) and it burned like hell for a second but then it was over. She didnt massage it or anything (I had other filler I didnt want dissolved yet so she maybe didnt want to spread it). She said it could take 3 days to fully dissolve everything. I had to sign a waiver and that waiver does mention the rumor of it possible dissolving good HA (like all the horror stories but many doctors say it comes back soon after). The day it was dissolve I did feel like it was a little "deflated" looking but I plumped back a couple days later. I might not even had been "deflated" but all the reviews and scary stories prepare you for that affect so maybe I thought it..I am happy with the results. I look different but I am not who I was 4 years ago and I think its approprite for my face/weight/age (29 year old). My under eye veins are more apparent but I mean, theres no filler there to maybe cover them? Regardless, I am happy I took the chance and I will be going back to get all the rest of my filler dissolved about 3 weeks after this was done. If you have questions, I would be happy to help and provide pictures, if needed.

    I did under eye fillers twice 7 years ago. The result was amazing, but it did not last for long, so I stopped doing that. After 7 years I had hypothyroidism condition and it made my face looks puffy for some time until I recovered from the illness. But the puffiness under the eyes did not go away completely and I believe this is the filler that migrated and was hiding somewhere all these years ) I plan to dissolve it.
    Update: dissolved! That was pricy btw (( But my eyes look bigger now, I look more fresh and alert. and yeah, I have "hollow" under eye area now (that is natural for me), but it's better than looking puffy.

No problems since until September last year I got sick (viral) and have had a puffy under eye on my left side only since. Never went down. Now I have just endured the end of another flu/viral like infection and now my other eye is swollen in the same tear trough area (must be fluid after watching this vid) I’m afraid my face is stuck like this forever 😩😩😩 it’s effected my confidence and how I feel about myself) do you feel dissolver is worth the risk? I'm a bit lost as to why people have under-eye fillers at all. Isn't depth into someone's eyes far more aesthetically appealing? Cheekbone fillers to further accentuate eye depth, yes! This, not for me!

      Nope, it's not. I have really bad under eye dark circles and I've had them since I was a kid , now I'm in my 30s. I'm super self conscious about them. I look older than I am and very tired no matter how much I sleep. When I wake up I sometimes have puffy eyes and my dark circles are not so noticeable because the under eye are looks more filled. So I look my age for about 20 minutes. I'd definitely get this under eye filler but I'm still researching it.
      Cheekbone fillers.. the ones I've seen makes people just look like they have a chubby face. Which isn't bad if that's what they're aiming for. But not for me.
      And no, dark circles don't make eyes look "deeper" or more appealing, they just make people look tired and older 🙄

The dissolver can also dissolve your natural hyaluronic acid in your face, which can further age you, so it's important to go to the doctor who is an expert at placement and only uses the minimum amount of dissolver necessary. I love my hips. People want an hourglass. But I don't think people should force it or try to get plastic surgery to achieve it especially if it destroys the natural harmony of your body.
      In terms of the puffy face...they don't want it. They want to just fill in their wrinkles but it doesn't work. It causes puffy face from overfilling and migration. It doesnt dissolve on its own and it messes with the person's natural facial harmony.
      Anyhow, 10% of the world's population is born beautiful..they won the genetic lottery. But why be jealous or envious of them. Admire and appreciate beautiful people and then move on.
      I don't know why the 90% are trying to achieve that. It's not working and it's causing people to look worse.

Loads of people think that black people don’t get skin cancer, however they’re more likely to die from skin cancer if they do get over any other skin tone! Proven fact. Also darker skin is more prone to dark spots and skin moles/bumps from the sun. You should be a voice for people with melanated skin instead of spreading false information and narratives

    • @amyg8176
      @amyg8176 Před 2 lety +9

      It doesn’t actually dissolve all the way. It migrates around the face, which is how you end up with a super puffy face.

    • @bleedblackwax
      @bleedblackwax Před 2 lety +4

      @@amyg8176 That is categorically false. You think trough filler somehow wiggles its way up to one's forehead?? Generally speaking, filler stays where it is placed. Migration potential is largely due to a poor injector and/or user error (manipulating the filler yourself, not following the directions given by a SKILLED injector...), and is only likely to happen in the first few weeks after injecting, while the filler is still integrating into the tissue. For hyaluronic-based fillers, the body metabolizes hyaluronic acid gradually. Hyaluronic acid is a precursor of collagen, which is inevitably left behind when the filler has run its course, and naturally, that newly synthesized collagen just degrades with age.
