Hama is one of the oldest cities in the world. It was a mighty kingdom in the second millennium BC. It has amazing centre of the old city as it was the centre of bourgeois in Ottoman era with land lords and owners. The centre was badly damaged in the eighties during Muslim brotherhood uprising but in recent events despite being one the first cities to join peaceful demonstartions, the city did not see much of armed conflict unlike many other Syrian cities.

This place in Hama is for fun. People go there just to spend some nice time. You did not visit the real downtown where people go to shop or to do some business

I'm from this city and i can confirm that you wouldn't see these people if they had no expatriates abroad, without syrians who are living in outside, they would be dead from starving, because the expatritaes send money for them monthly, due to the salaries are very low (14$) per month they can't do anything with that!!
Except for corruption, nepotism, bribes, and power outages 22 hours a day, imagine that can u live in this circumstances?
It is one of the few cities that were not affected by the war so we're lucky!

@@kasimilknur6469 Now the war has died down and for the most part Syria is fine but it is riddled with corruption and poverty but the war is still there and most Syrians left at 2015 when the war was at its worst and the countries they left to were better so most people didn’t think of returning but slowly they are coming back
