Replacement arrived!By the way, I did forget to mention that the original lure did have a decent strike however as most anglers will attest you can get a hit czcams.com/users/postUgkxCbNOWAGmn6nfbCbJDmasvBq7J38KZNw2 and fish will hang on and release lure. I used the replacement lure yesterday and ran thru a Shimano Waxwing, Kastmaster, Bobber (set to sink). I found the does run deep (I casting on the flats 3.5'). Make sure you adjust your rate of retrieve and rod tip angle (up) to prevent getting snagged on bottom. Used it a couple of times and action was very lifelike (looked like local bait fish for trevally), craftsmanship very good....however eyeball fell out. I asked for replacement and it is on it's way! It was very easy to change out treble to single inline hook.

@@charadremur333 buying the equipment himself would be more expensive. It would be more practical to have one made for him.
That said, a 3d scanner ranges from a few hundred to tens of thousands. 3d printers have a similar price range. He would also need software and filiment. All together it would cost about $1,000 to do it all himself using the bare minimum tools.
Given the success of this channel, the views would likely outweigh the cost.

Dude, micro cranks are da bomb!! There are actually many different kinds of largemouth and smallmouth. The weird bass you caught looked something like a Coosa bass. Mass produce those lures. I'm glad you understood that you needed a treble and actually changed it and saw how it changed.

If you use 2 pound test, no higher than 4, then you can cast a decent way. I too use the snap beans or peas wtf ever their called.

i made this with no power tools. i used a small peice of wood, small hook, and a small piece of plastic for the lip and i’ve caught some really nice fish!!👍👍

That was a rock bass, technically it's a large mouth bass, however has traits of the small mouth

I bought a pack of similarly sized micro crankbaits a couple years ago & the bluegills could not get enough of it. They’re so small, the splash doesn’t really scare the fish away but you can easily get a panfish of any size to chase it.
The smallmouth/largemouth hybrid gets caught is in fact a hybrid known appropriately as “meanmouth” bass. Have a good day knowing a new fish :)

Awesome, that tiny crank bait is a beautiful lure, I made one in dark brown and grey with a slight gold wash, a killie , a common live bait around here in Jersey and i was hammering trout and walleye. Beautiful work, thanks for this video.

As much as I love the little crank bait and the skill you have in designing and building something so small, I do have one major complaint. Take my word for it, wear safety glasses when using your tools, especially power tools. Close one eye and try do everyday stuff and you will get my drift. I lost the use of my left eye about 6 years ago and I still struggle with lots of things. Aside from that complaint I love your video's and also love that K-9!

Years ago, I had a tackle box stolen full of collectible Little Rocky jointed minnows which were 1.5" in length. These crank baits were variably painted and were very effective for UL fishing. I have not seen any wooden baits like them in over 40 years and yet they were real fish catchers on ultra-light spin tackle. Have you ever seen them? I love small lures and your video is amazing!

Yo-zuri makes the little snap bean crankbaits, which are just a bit bigger than this. Put them on a leader with a swivel or on a bfs reel and they're awesome for panfish like this. I've had rock bass smoke them too

I would also add a a small dry fly type tail, try to match the color pattern of the body

For the 200k lure try a multi minnow bait like a Alabama rig.
What he said about having more lip then not enough.. that's true. I was working in a bait and cut the bill down until my home made swim bait wouldn't swim. So I redesigned it in cad and gave it just enough lip to make it swim 👌 awesome
