- I hit the creek on the side of the road using this $1 Micro lure that I picked up from walmart and it truly catches everything. Its a small crankbait from www.cremelures.com and its on a Profishiency Dock Combo. I hope you enjoyed this video, these are a fun way to spend an afternoon.
Thanks for checking out the channel, don't forget to like/comment/share/subscribe.

Just picked up a couple for my ultra light, and one thing I've learned in my 37yrs alive and 35yrs fishing. If someone tells you worst lure because they haven't caught anything , go buy two of them. Most people don't have patience, most people don't know how to change retrieval. I typically fish 7days a week , by the "Average" fishers logic and opinions since I don't catch fish every day I should throw out all my lures. Good video
Wow, I have never seen a red fin pike. I didn't know they existed. I only knew of northern pike here in Michigan. Thank you for the video.
Thanks for checking out the video, I’ve had several people make similar comments but I can confirm, they do exist!
Also helps if you're in good area for fishing, cuz where you were looked like a honey hole for real. Beautiful, but I'll bet there was a moccasin and copperhead slithering around there somewhere as well...LOL! Great video though, thanks for posting.
Got half dozen of these in different colors they seem to work well here in texas
A small pair of hemostats forceps would help get those small hooks out.
I may need to run me down a pair.
You really do need forceps with these little crank baits. They work well but man they can be a pain to remove.
So much fun. Too bad there are no micro tarpon lol
I tish with those little crank baits all the time i personally find a black top and fade from green to orange works best
I have that exact lure. I randomly found it on a tree. I had no clue it actually worked.
Are those Pike the same as grass Pike? I've been fishing this private lake my folks live by and have access to and I've randomly gotten a couple over all these years. Idk where they came from and how they got there because they never stock this lake and if they did it wouldn't be grass Pike. Before I'd heard of them I thought they were northern
It is not a grass Pike, same family but a smaller cousin.
I have a couple of these and though you can’t trust you’ll get a good one out of the package, when you do they are money
i got my pb bluegill on one of those cheap crankbaits
I love micro lures! I like this one and I really like the rebel lures. I have a couple of videos on the channel fishing with those as well!
where's the product link?
Watch for snakes!
I run across them quite often!
They do get lots of bites the fish tend to hit the body a lot of the time with out touching the hook at all. Amazon sells plenty of sets in different colors and patterns. And 1 set I like a lot that with slowly sick when you stop reeling unlike every other 1 that foats up when you stop reeling.
I noticed I got a lot more hits than I did hook sets. I may buy some different models, it was a fun way of fishing
@@G2GO_outdoors yup they are still fun to use and I get some nice 10 and 8 inche bluegill just about every time I use them. The 1 that works best for me so far I got in a set from Amazon the has the color and pattern of a black crappie
@@ncooper7757what's the set called?
@@andreabruno5495 I don't know they're just generic ones 1" crankbait set I got from Amazon about 3 years ago now the one I like best is going to work best of the ones that slowly sink when you start reeling but most of them seem to be the type that float when you stop reeling
I have the same lure but it doesn’t track straight in the water. It’s to the point where it’s completely ineffective because it runs sideways and skips across the water. Perhaps I got a bad one and should try another one. When I saw it in the store I was excited to use it but was very disappointed when it didn’t work properly 😩.
I will admit mine did not swim great either…it worked good enough to catch fish with but will say it was aggravating
Good to know. Love the video, brother. Tight lines 🎣!!!
Thanks
im a lil late but try fishing it with a 8lb or loghter mono leader. I always catch sunfish n bluegill but sometimes a largemouth will pick it up
Hey, it's a knock off Yo-zuri snap bean. I used to have a few, the came in two packs with both sizes being in a pack. I've had days I've killed crappie with them
ATTENTION! Those grass fin “pike” are actually pickerel, a close relative of pike.
They are actually Redfin pickerel, in the south we just call them Pike as slang! Just like every soft drink down here is called a “Coke”
@@G2GO_outdoors yeah! I love this style of video you do, I subbed! I hope you get 1 million subs! Also, trout magnets are a great small lure, I’ve caught many creek fish on them.
worst lure out there. stick to a rooster tail. I fell into the trap of buying the lure and it tracks terribly or spins around as someone else mentioned in the comments. Glad you caught something on it i could not lol.
I agree…I did catch fish on it but it does not track very well and spends more time spinning instead of being upright.
And it’s hard to beat a rooster tail
Skill issue.
@@team3d180 sure bud, good one.
