Really cool interview guys, and really nice to see the original BBA crew in the end. Looking forward to the Stone tasting video. I will also most definitely have to make a trip to Berlin once Stone opens there, a do some beertubing. Again great vid, and cheers!
I would love to see more of the BBA!! Best beer reviews to ever hit the CZcamss!
I knew Greg was in town, but never would have thought you would be doing another interview with him! Thanks for doing this and posting James! Miss the old BBA videos! Favorite Stone beer? That's tough haha. Maybe their 15th Anniversary Black IPA. I'll say my favorite NEW Stone beer is the 19th Anniversary IPA. To answer your other question, Stone can get as big as they like as long as they keep making high quality beer and never change.
Was actually pretty close to you this past Sunday. We visited Hoof Hearted in Marengo. We gotta get together and grab a beer sometime soon man. Cheers James!
Yes to more shows, but only if your heart's in it.
Greg is the man! And you interviewed him twice now! Well done James!
James! Huge fan of your brew review mans I hope that you get back to it because I feel you and the gang to an awesome job! Cheers!
Great to see you again James. Hope you come back to recording the BBB regularly.
Great to finally see you back James!
So glad to find this gem in my feed today. Please bring back BBA is some form or another. Who am I kidding, bring back the original cast and segments!
That was brilliant, I really miss you guys. Cheers!
YES FINALLY BACK JAMES BOY! WHEEEEE
I'm so excited . this was my all time favorite CZcams channel. so glad I didn't unsubscribe
You are back!!!!!
I unsubscribed from this channel when Jimmy retired, and just subscribed again when I realized this was a new video! More, more, more! BBA doesn't work without you.
I thought youtube screwed up and somehow reposted a BBA to my feed, So happy its a new video. Heck of a bday present from youtube
Good to see you again, miss your reviews! What the hell guys, too many good beers to miss! Knott, get back on your game!
+Led Zed I agree 100%.
.... but where's that special episode you're talking about? I'm anxious to watch it! Cheers!
Freakin awesome interview! Greg seems like an awesome dude. Thanks for this interview guys. Hope your back for a few more years. I'm totally pumped for more!
+Jeff Smith Greg Koch thanks for all the delicious beer man!
Ha! It's great to see James do a one-off with the same amount of expected class and production quality as we all grew to enjoy. Plus, it's with one of the most recognized faces in craft beer! It's a shame the BBA successor bombed as bad as they did.
+Scott M bombed in the box office, killed it in the home video market!
Love it. This is awesome. Please bring back bba
Welcome back.
Regarding that question around 16:00 that asks "do you drink beer that tastes good no matter who produces it," I have changed over the years.
At first I was set on buying and drinking whatever beer tasted good to me, especially if it's more affordable. Now I try to make a conscious decision, as much as possible, to buy great tasting beers that I love from producers who are not actively impeding on the ability of other breweries to grow and share their craft. The big companies that cut off shelf space and distribution from other breweries in order to maintain their own cash flow are the exact people I try not to support. That sort of behavior is counter-productive to what I want in my community, it doesn't help the breweries I'd like to visit in the future, and in the end, it doesn't help me get what I want into my glass.
Cheers.
Excellent!
More reviews! :D
I WANT BBA back!!! Bring it back James! Nothing against the other guys who picked it up and carried the torch, but it cannot compare. I miss the show man.
Agreed. The feel of the new show seems off. I know the new guys are beer enthusiasts also, but the show you did James drew the viewers in more with beer world/reviews. The vibe was better on the old show.
Awesome
Love the IPA. Of course Ruination is great too but more expensive and harder to find.
My depression just ended!!!
Hey ***** when is the first batch of Enjoy By Sublimely Self-righteous going to hit the shelves? 😎🍻
Interview Jim Koch,Tony Magee and Ken Grossman :P
I love red x malt in my brewing
He seems like a cool guy.
When James said he drinks Coors, I was hoping Greg would just walk out
Why? What pretentious shit do you have inside of your brain?
Was this recorded in November 2013 or is this the first BBA show recorded since November 2013? I'm confused! lol..
+Nigel Fortune First recorded since Nov. 2013. Greg Koch was just in Columbus recently.
+Crafty Beer Reviews Ah right thanks.
You can Knott keep a good man down!
"There's a beautiful stone Saison in your glass," "there is, cheers" then proceeds to put beer on table after cheers... gota atleast fake a sip just as a courtesy
Is this a son of Jim Koch or in the same Koch family?
oh shit thought you died :0
drinking a Ruination as I watch this.
+MrJandslegate I was drinking a Pataskala :)
god my journey through craft beer exploration is so weird. I try my best to keep one of all my bottles but I had completely forgotten that I ever had Pataskala not too long ago.
Stone sold out to big beer.
