@@ericandsandy 🥰 A while ago, I followed a family, travelling and, literally living off grid all the way through Ecuador...learning on their way, how to cope with everything...absolutely fascinating.. and yes, I likewise think Ecuador is more than big enough and, plenty to explore...I'll bring my laptop, a bit of clothing and myself and, then I may ask all the people from the rest of this continent to come see me there.....one day at the time...just can't wait to get to know all the wonderful people and, I wonder if all Ecuadorians actually know, what a stunning part of our planet they own...💖💖💖

They are wonderful....it almost smelled like I was back at the spa. I love when their leaves flutter around on the tree when there is a nice breeze..such a beautiful sight

The first park was one of the first we visited on a tour with a guide when we arrived last October. Don’t recall the cooking area, maybe didn’t walk far enough. 😂.

The last park, Ictocruz, we had not even heard about so, will have to visit it soon.

Thanks guys for sharing your experiences in Ecuador, beautiful country i would say,..so are you still living in Cuenca??...there's a place if you want to go and check it out, its a hostal and bar called SANTA CANELA, its in calle larga by todo santos, nice place if you want to hang out and have a beer or cocktail, the owner FREDDY nice guy try it,..thanks again for sharing your videos, God blessings.

We took a taxi. My fitbit is attached most days...usually anywhere from 7-16 miles a day. Eucalyptus is not local..someone told me they were brought here...the weeping willow is their local tree. I always book 30 days or more in advance. I just keep my eye out

There is one more sign that I know of. Maybe you can add it to your video. Its near another lookout in the city which has an elevator but more urban. I just recently learned about the Icto Cruz one. View Point La Libertad has the 4th sign.
@heidicuesta6380 we went there.. the sign isn't there anymore. Just the steel frame that the letters set in. Maybe they took down that sign to use for backup letters for the others..that's the only thing I can think of why they took it down.

Thank you very much for posting these two parks. I’m definitely adding them to my list for when I visit in March. Super excited to visit the Parque de la Luz around dusk and get some photographs of the city.
What days of the week were you at these parks? Seems odd there were so few people there.

@@BPe-ie9je I was staying at Apartamento Otorango and hired the owner to show me potential places to live in Cuenca. He drove me there to help get oriented to the different areas of Cuenca.
Where is Waldo??? 😆😆 I found him several years ago in a dark dreary bar in NYC drinking an old fashioned, smoking a cigar... but he put the slip on me and I haven't seen him since. Thanks 😊. 😊

Taxi..but we did walk from the 1st one to the 2nd sign that wasn't there anymore..there were 4 signs total..but no more. I have no idea what they did with it...maybe backup letters for the other 3
