The tidbit about the wonders is HUGE. You could wonder rush if you can scrape the stone together for it.
Can you explain religions? I usually ignore them.
Also city border expansion.
I will be covering those in an upcoming video. I'm usually 1 or 2 videos ahead with recording, so it'll probably be episode 6 or 7. Border expansion I can explain at any time. Religion will make more sense once I've got some shrines built.
@@UnstableVoltage Cool. I've figured out expansion to some extent. It is surprising just how big a city can get. Shrines can be major boosters from what I've found. However the whole named religions (Judaism for example) vs paganism vs not having anything at all is still beyond me.
The expansion is something that I do like in Old World, both mechanically and visually. Your cities swell and eventually merge. You start to feel like all of the terrain in between is part of your land rather than individual isolated population centres.

hello ... plz could you explain to me how i can take a city site from a tribe (not the barbarians) without waging war ? i maxed my influence to 200+ with the gauls thinking i can make them let me settle the place, i even succeded in influenting them with my leader ... but can't find a way to make them leave the spot so i can clain it for a city! i hope you see what i'm saying, i would love to have an answer because it's driving me crazy :(
Hi. I haven't come across this situation yet, myself. The documentation that I can find says the tribe's opinion of you reduces the cost of settling a city on their tribal lands - so I assume that the action has some sort of monetary cost. I'll test it out for myself and see if I can find any option, and if/when I do I will come back and let you know.
@@UnstableVoltage thx a lot ... maybe try on higher difficulty settings! Cause in my game, gauls are on 3 city locations and i can't find any option to buy it from them ... maybe later with a law or a tech ... but don't know ! plz let us know each other when we find !
@@KreatorHL you can settle in any city tile adjacent to the Tribe's encampment after attaining a Tribal Alliance with them.
Does this game not have a soundtrack? Endless Legend had such a brilliant one...
It does, and it’s quite a good one. I always have the music volume low anyway, for narration purposes. But, Old World’s soundtrack has a lot of licensed music which I’m not allowed to play on CZcams.
