Just a tip, not sure if you know, but you can build the recommended improvement by clicking it's icon above the tile instead of always going to the left hand menu 😊
Terrific game, glad to see this play through. i have read that Rome is a good nation to start with because of extra moves and military. The fun is in being dragged in multiple directions at once. Build military? Build shrine? Build settler? Attack or defend? As expected you can't do everything.
Hi, at around 27 minuts in you were choosing between 2 option for your new ruler. Did you mix up discontent with wisdom in that choice? While none of the options were bad, 7 wisdom and the science boost that comes with it are not to be scoffed at. =)
Wide vs Tall is always a choice to be made in 4x games. I am a tall player myself but I've found this can hurt me on getting victory points.
How do you adopt a state religion? I have seen a million things referring to adopting a state religion but NOTHING that tells you how to do that. So frustrating
After playing over 30 hours of Old World, i have to tell... its quite a good game, Musci is sooo good, graphics are not bad, controls are good, BUT it gets to a point whne it gets boring :,( it doesnt advance in time like Civ or the other one i forget too XD... sorry but it really feels like an unfinished game for me, I LIKED IT but I wouldnt recomend it (buy it in a sale if you like it) regards.
