I’m 21 just getting started and I’m so excited!!!!
If you haven’t yet, start learning about commercial property.
I’d probably be a millionaire by now if it wasn’t for a very bad REI addiction! Great video and advice!
I know, right?!
Please help.....I have my independent license and applied for EARenfroe. To get my auto or property certifications schooling is very short compare to other companies like Pilot. EARenfroe only require 1 day online for auto at $25 and 3 days online for properties at $40...Pilot and others require 7 days in classroom at $400 for auto and 10 days at $250 for property.....I do not understand why these length of trainings are completely different.....for someone who just received an IA License what route would you recommend? Should I stick with EARenfroe at cheaper cost and less schooling and doesn't require me to travel out of state or should I go with Pilot thats higher cost and longer schooling? Thank you :D
I’m a millionaire as a cat adjuster for a large insurance company it’s really not complicated. And I’m 35 and just about to retire having seen the entire country. On average I made about $65k per year (that includes bonuses and is the average per year for my 14 years ie I made less to start). I spent $1k per month so after taxes I had $40k per year. I invested it all and got about 7% each year. Boom now I’m a millionaire, nothing fancy, I didn’t have a house I worked 3 weeks at a time so had no expenses there and on the off week I would travel and use my massive miles saved up. Was a fun time and now I can settle. Edit: it took me the whole episode to type this and I see you pretty much did the same thing haha, well goes to show its a pretty foolproof way if you just have a little discipline
I’m 30 and about to take my exam next week. This is exactly my plan! Congrats to you!
That doesn't add up - I'm 55 made over 100K for 20 years - bought property no debt, invested, saved - have a really nice net worth and it no where enough to retire on should i live another 30 years - 20 years Stretching it - 10 years no problem
My other question is in regard to the RV. How likely is it to find a campground or something to park the RV while deployed? What's your secret?
Kameron Patterson haven’t ever really had too much trouble except around Dallas (believe it or not). Many rv campgrounds have an age restriction so keep that in mind when you buy one. I’d never tell anybody to buy a new rv, but don’t go older than about 7-8 years
8 percent return is pretty great.
Do you think it's feasible at all to be an IA Cat adjuster as a single mom to a toddler? Do deploying companies help you secure childcare at all? Or would you just recommend that someone like me finds a staff or public adjuster position? If so, what companies would you recommend that are willing to train newly licensed adjusters with Xactimate training?
Hey, Fay! Great question. They definitely will not provide childcare or help you find it. But, to be fair, they also don't help us with hotels or laptops or software or anything else. I would never recommend a public adjuster position. Staff isn't a bad way to go. But there's nothing stopping you from getting creative with your childcare and hiring somebody like mom or another trusted person to look after your toddler - bring them along and get them their own hotel room. If you're looking to get into cat, I can't really think of a better time than right now.
Hey I’m a mom with a 4 year old and I’m able to do it, working field deployments I just find daycares as I go. You can definitely do it. ☺️
@@victoriareynolds1465 omg I'm also a mom of a 4 yr old and I'm kind afraid to be deployed. I haven't yet, but I have tons of support from my bf. Is it difficult to find child care, everytime
@@lacosquilla in my opinion no, once I know where I’m going I start researching daycares in the area and calling to get him enrolled. The only state I found to be super difficult that I can’t work in is Alabama for some strange reason lol, but we got moved 3 times from Iowa, to Louisiana to Texas. It can be done, you just have to be determined and not give up. If it’s your first deployment it will be very hard mentally (at least for me it was) cause you’re juggling mom life while learning how to do your job and be in the top 10% but just stay focused you got this 😊
Does anybody know the software for Auto adjusting. Like what is being used ?
Check out iapath.com
It’s up from here
Have a Cottage in South Nags Head, Public Adjuster hasn't been actively involved, after 8 months of being homeless? Out of area of Expertise totally... any suggestions on how to void his Contract? It's 10% ... 200k
Who's homeless?
My goal is to become a CAT IA and have the ability to invest 30-50k into rental properties each year. Do you think this is feasible or will I be more in the 20k range?
Kameron Patterson it depends on how you budget and spend your money. If you live way below your means, then anything is possible.
Very possible
I am not a certified independent adjuster. What company do you recommend? Pilot, EARenfroe, and so forth? I applied for EARenfroe currently still employee pending.....should I also apply for Pilot? I do not have auto or property certifications though😞 not until EARenfroe says I’m good to go then I can start.....however which do you recommend? Should I try auto and than property? Please help!! Thank you
Scratch the first sentence. I am now a certified independent adjuster
Hey, 18! I would apply for every IA firm you can. You'll increase your opportunities for your initial deployments and then you'll eventually settle into one or three firms that you always work for.
What if you're already a millionaire and looking at getting into CAT adjusting?
Why in the world would you do that lol?!?!?
it doesnt take that long to be a millionaire as an IA. If you get the right deployment it could take a year to reach that goal.
Haha, maybe! The stars would have to align PERFECTLY tho:)
@@AdjusterTV 'The Right Deployment'... Ha! Friend of mine has been an adjuster for 10 years. Worst thing to happen to her is she got a flood deployment, made $150K in 4 months and didn't work again for 3 years, got super choosy on deployments and, now broke, has to take anything that comes along to survive. As you said, just because you made good money, don't stop! I've done this, got soft and lazy (partially b/c I worked 7 mo w/ 2 days off and was physically & emotionally spent, and at 55, don't bounce the same...! Ha!), but the brain dump and softness are not friends when it's time to get after it again. Thank you for the vid! I knew this was possible just running round numbers. Thanks for being a living example.
I don’t believe you have extra room in a mobile home...lol
I agree! Hes crazy for that but good at what he does!
Lol it was a bloodbath when we emptied the storage unit - ruthless! What we didn't sell on craigslist in a day went to Goodwill. Believe me, I like stuff and I've got a collection of electric guitars that I keep at a friend's house ;) But the motorhome has some room for more bins in the basement bays. CRAZY, but true :)
Haha
Thanks Captain Obvious.
Any time!
