Melissa, I remember when I first started watching Mike said you were a little reluctant to be on camera. You have really added a lot to the channel since you got more involved. Good job, you are a natural in front of the camera and your fun loving personality really lightens up the content. Keep up your involvement you two make good videos.❤️

A little advice from my over 50 years of running heavy equipment, Mike. If you fill a puddle without getting rid of the water first, it will ALWAYS be a soft spot. No amount of dry fill will correct it. I would dig that little place back out for at least 2 feet and then fill it. That will be the end of it.

I’m so jealous of your woods. When I had mine, I’d relish the time when it would rain. When I sat in my barn, I found myself just listening to it come down. It was like therapy to me and for one brief shining moment you felt like all was right with the world.

Mike & Melissa you guys are great working together, and we really enjoy your videos. I'm a 86 year old Disabled Korean War Vet and I've been following you guys for a very long time now. My grandson just helped set me up so I could converse with you. Not very good Texting because of arthritis and old age. I sure like to see all the things you are doing there in Pennsylvania on your place. Im looking forward to your finishing your Hunting Cabin.

The mini cabin is looking good. Melissa, you use the level on the wall to 'check for plumb'. Plumb being straight up and down. I also saw Mike using a square when building the walls. You do not need to do that if you make sure they are plumb when you put them up. They will rack when you maneuver them around anyway. I come from a family of carpenters and framers. JSYK

You know, I found Buckin' Billy Ray last winter by way of August Hunicke who I subbed to and on my first visit on Buckin's channel it was Mikey YoYo that welcomed me and said I was bound to have a lot of fun. I'll never forget that. Over the years I've subscribed to about 900 channels (I have a wide range of interests!) and that was the first and only time I was personally welcomed by anyone. I built an 8x8 raised blind windows all around (some call it my cabin in the sky) It sets in the middle of a large 20 acre field. about 20' high my only regret is I did not make a landing at the top of the steps. used rubber horse stall rubber at TSC painted it black inside insulated walls and ceiling 6" ledge a couple of office chairs and even a place underneath to park my 4 wheeler enclosed...my friends think I am cheating, I am older and happy to use stairs...I still have several tree stands I use (weather permitting) but the raised cabin is the ticket..also great to take grandkids to hunt or just watch the deer and turkey play

That stairway stringer looked like it needs a little beef, how about cutting/splitting a 12" log down the middle and bolting it under the treads...bark on. Cool looking and functional. I'd make the railings out of 1 1/2-2" straight sapling trunks too, bark left on for grip. Maybe dried and spray coated to protect the bark? Maybe it's just me, but I'd like my Mini Condo Blind to blend with the woods more than stick out. All those First Cuts you take with the sawmill...yep...siding -)

I loved this video! The thought you put to a task before you do something is quite educational. I have been try to figure out how you would build the walls, which you’d do first, on and on. I thought you’d build them on site, your approach proved safest, not to mention taking down the obstructive tree. Well thought out and well done!
Someone could think I was trying to he funny, but I’m not when I say I like watching y’all work. Nope, I just find myself learning something each time. So, a huge thanks for this video from Texas and have a Day.

Mike, on your mud hole you should drop the gravel in front of it and push it into the hole, this displaces the water and lighter mud out of the hole and puts the stone where it needs to be. By dropping the fill directly into the water you make more mud. It will tighten up and heal faster if you push it in.

Hey Mike and Melissa, you did a great job on the walls. Really like the wide trails for maneuvering around the woods 👍👍 . Sure going to be a nice blind. You remember the cabin windows were slotted in a cross design for allowing you to shoot left and right and you covered that well but what about the critter that sneaks in and uses the blind as his backstop? I know limestone with 1.5 inch to dust is not the best for filling holes with water in them as the dust absorbs the water and becomes mush and it’s not much butter than the mud. Clear stone is best for filling holes with water in them, or at least that has been my experience during the ten years I worked in concrete construction.

Hanna, I hope your hands are better soon. It proves how hard you drove yourself in competition. I hope you and your sister continue to appear in videos. You both contribute and impress whenever you join one. Perhaps, in time you will relax, as your mother has. It takes practice and effort. I know you are not strangers to either, in other areas. As a somewhat shy person, all the Morgans impress me greatly.
Now its time for a shout out to Hunter. It is nice to see you out and around. I hope you have a Sandwich for me. I just do not get to Burger King these days. Take care and God bless you all.

Love the video, especially the Kiawah Island tee shirt on Hannah. Favorite place in the world.

I used to get those palm rips when I was in gymnastics. Yeah, really painful until they heal up.
