I would like to see a follow up video to see what was causing those crashes.
My first thought was random crashes for no reason is usually a defective ram stick. But anyway that system would normally be returned for behavior like that maybe you can help someone that bought it but doesn’t want to go through RMA

Chuwi is sold on Amazon and last I saw has decent reviews. We knew a Celeron wouldn't perform well, but then manufacturer of the computer or laptop won't affect that. I really wish dual core, dual thread CPUs would go the way of the dinosaur, though. Celerons are just everywhere in laptops that cost upwards of $400, ridiculous.

Chuwi is one of those Shenzhen brands you’ll find on Ali Express. As much as Wish is a meme, I’d strongly recommend checking out some of the tablet/phone/laptop options available on Ali. It’s great for everyone outside of the US. You’ll find cheaper prices than anywhere else and avoid the middleman scammers.

I liked it lol. the only things i didnt like was the battery life was like 2 hours and the screen would glitch out when using the pen in only some programs.
I dont think Chewi is that crap compared to other things especially for the prices. but still i would not get it on wish lmao

So really Dawid, in the 17 years since that happened clearly there has been some progress, as you paid $400 for this device and I paid $1400 for mine back in 2004. I mean, the value per dollar is on clear display here.

Was a tech for a school-board for 4 years and opened thousands of them, mostly Acer, ASUS and Lenovo. Even the case reminded me of the bottom of an old Samsung 303 Chromebook lol. I had ( yes HAD ) 2 little laptops like this one. Got them in Special at 200$ each for me and my wife. They were branded iSmart ( CanadaComputer home brand ) and they did not last. My wifes keyboard gave up after 2 weeks , got it exchanged and it gave up around a year after. Her screen was starting to flicker randomly also. I gave her mine ( I barely used it , was still new ) and the keyboard gave up after a couple of months. The problem is that when the keyboard dies , there no way to power on the laptop ( the power button dies ). Only a couple of keys died at first but many more died over time until the Power button gave up.
