By best loadout, we of course mean what are the best weapons for Demo: primary, secondary and melee slots. With a game like TF2, most of the weapons are balanced to be practically even, in one way or another, so this is the best Demoman loadout for most situations - there's no such thing as a perfect loadout in Team Fortess.
We also take a bonus look at what I think is the best Demoknight loadout!

Nice to see you continue with this series. Just wanted to point out: The Scotsman's Skullcutter's and the Claidheamh Mòr's negatives come into effect only when the weapon is out, as opposed to what you say in the video.

The Iron Bomber is better, here's why:
Due to a glitch in the source engine, iron bomber pipes fly more straight since they're balls and not pill shaped, which is why the stock often doesn't fire where you want it to. you could try to argue the downsides of the iron bomber, but the best way of dealing damage with demo's primary is with direct hits,and the iron bomber is MUCH better than stock for directs. Iron Bomber can even have better rollers too, and are easier to control than stock rollers anyway.

i use the iron bomber primaly for the reason that bombs don't roll away. plus the faster detonating timer, it's like they explode on impact

It changes where you play. If you are on Dustbowl, Powerhouse grenade launcher,if you are on harvest, upward, suijin iron bomber. I got 141 kill at grenade launcher and I got 1000+ kill at Iron bomber.

Best demoknight loadout imo is: ABWB/bootlegger, Eyelander, and splendid screen. You can go on serious killstreaks if you use this right because of the head mechanic, stack up a few heads and you’re a big threat.
True, persian persuader+tide turner are better for beginner tho cause you got more flexible timing and controll options but when u get more experience go for ABWB/bootlegger, eyelander and splendid screen. (When u get enough heads u are literally fster than a scout)
As a true gamer,I prefer stock,tide tuner (for mobility),and the scot's man skullcutter for those juicy 184 damage crits.
The tide Turner is not very good if you want to maximize your xamake of the Scotsman
Wait so is the iron bomber better then stock? Recently spent all my ref on a strange one with a damage dealt strange part.
There's as "good" as each other - if you have more success or more fun with the Iron Bomber then you've picked the right one! Personally I think the default is a good choice for a wider amount of situations, but it's never the wrong answer to use a different weapon if that's your personal preference
Because of a glitch in source engine it is harder to hit pills with stock, and there’s a difference from group damage and area damage. Typically, iron bomber will win in area damage because in general it will hit directly at the area you want it. Grenade launcher does a little better in group damage, because in a spread out group it will hit more because of the -25% radius damage the iron bomber has. But since it is easier to hit pipes plus you’ll get more damage out in general, the iron bomber is better in pretty much all situations besides taking out a far away sentry, but that’s what stickybombs are for.

The Iron Bomber is considered pretty much a direct upgrade from Stock by any serious player. Saying that it's not good and even worse than the LnL is just silly.
Also the speed penalty of the Scotsman's Skullcutter and the Claid's negative apply only when the weapon is out and not always.
Like seriously, the game and the weapons have been out for more than 10 years. How can people still not know weapon stats?
And last thing, playing all stock is just plain boring.
small little things:
-loch and loads only upside is that it can kill level 3 buildings in 2 hits, however, you still end up with the same amount of ammo as you would with stock, but for all levels (1 ammo left). what i mean is you go through 2 pipes for all levels with lal, but with stock you use 3 for level 3, as it has 200+ health. however, lal loses to stock on the principle of pipes left
-skullcutter, claid, and caber's downsides are only active whilst held.
-loose cannon is arguably better than stock, given that you dont miss a donk, and you can use stickies to deal with a sentry
-trimps
-hybrid knight, which is when using a grenade launcher with a shield and sword. some are stock/iron bomber, targe, and eyelander. really youll see any grenade launcher, but those are what i see most

my favorite loadout is the bootleger quickiegolfer (I use the Nessie's 9 iron to fit the theme)
_bootlegger+Quickiebomb launcher+9-Iron (Eyelander)_
with it you become an all around madman that can reach sniper range with good sticky aim, your goal is to widdle down opponents at mid-long range, then close in for kills with the quickiebomb charge shots in mid range, and if your opponent is for certain in a pinch, and you know you can live, you can close in for a melee kill to get a bonus health and speed buff. With each head you get, you become a faster demo with an extremely versatile primary.
_+You can support your engineer by deleting enemy demo's stickies, also helps teammates by doing the same_
_+supports any range, and well aimed full charge stickies can get 110 damage._
_+Your projectiles when charged can move so fast that you can get the drop on a pyro spamming airblast_
_-it's burst damage in front combat is much lower, you only have 4 shots so each one counts. You can't head a kritz push alone, you need a teammate to backup when you need to reload._
_-mid range use can require a momentary charge for damage, spamming stickies without charging will lead to underwhelming results in close quarters combat._
It's an old reliable demo that sacrifices spam potential for highly accurate play, and rewards close quarters ambushes with speed and health.

I forced myself to only use iron bomber and master it by dipping the sticky trap and using the sticky launcher, and for my third slot I use the sign.
My demoman loadout(My opinion)
Iron bomber
Sticky jumper
Eyelander or bottle
Yo, how do you get a Sticky Jumper cheap? The Steam and Mann Co. Store have it up near 100 bucks and things like Scrap.tf and Market don't have it or have it for just as much.

Really, the iron bomber and the stock grenade launcher are both equaly effective, it just boils down to personal preference, I have used both and I don't see any mayor change, so both are the best demoman primaries

If you go demoknight with the eyelander specifically at the start of a round and get four heads if you can go back to spawn get rid of the boots and shield but keep the eyelander, all of the sudden you have a ridiculous amount of health and speed given to you by the eye lander because it’s heads do t reset.
So trust me when I say this is broken all you need to do to make yourself the fastest and having more health then normal is go demoknight with eyelander kill four people go back to spawn and switch back to sticky bombs and grenades.

Stock Grenade Launcher sucks, Iron Bomber is a straight upgrade with basically no downsides.
stock has more range thats the only thing better than the iron bomber
The iron bomber is better because if you miss a direct, the bomb will stay there and disallow them to move that direction

Maybe! I've got a couple of bigger projects at the moment but might go back to these. They're not my best received videos, but I think the response is at least positive enough to carry on through the series
