    I've been considering becoming a Mason off and on for years. I'm grateful that so much research material is being made readily available by actual masons nowadays, since much of what was previously available was predominantly put out by outsiders. I am not the type of person who wants to get ibvolved with such things without informing myself first. Besides, even if I don't become a Mason myself, I still find that a study of freemasonic history and philosophy can still benefit my overall understanding of myself and the world around me

      And Dim, it's a good thing our founding fathers, most of whom were masons, created this new order of government we call America, as opposed to the worlds monarchies and dictatorships, or you wouldn't have the right or freedom to slander the way you currently are. The freedoms masons have created for you to speak the way you are, you are now using that freedom to slander them. If you didn't have this freedom and lived in the old worlds order of monarchies, you would probably have received the death penalty for slander.

And was interested in the history of our founding fathers, like Benjamin Franklin. I reside in a town with much history. SUNBURY was the home of Thomas Edison.

    The terms "lodge" and "free" are in opposition. When something is lodged, it's stuck, not free. Also the terms "obligations" and "free" are not in harmony. To be obligated is to have to do something, unable to refuse or decline.

    • @donaldmcandrews5459
      @donaldmcandrews5459  Před 6 lety +2

      I encourage you to find a Lodge near where you live or work. If you have friends, relatives, or colleagues at work whom you know to be Masons, they can assist you. The process is to submit a petition which must be signed by two Masons in good standing who can vouch for your character. If you do not know any, then it would be necessary to get to know some at a nearby Lodge who, once they get to know you, would be willing to vouch for you. After the petition is presented, a committee will be assigned to investigate you, and depending on the jurisdiction, you may have to pay for a criminal background check. Once that is done, the Lodge will then vote on your petition. Things tend to move slowly and deliberately in Masonry, which is a good life lesson in itself.

      your dad my grandfather was a mason. Not such a fine man. What they do in the Masonic Lodge is break a man down prison style. As a new initiative you must masturbate in front of the whole Lodge. if it wasn't nothing to be ashamed of the doors wouldn't be locked and they wouldn't threaten to kill you if you ever expose the secrets of the lodge. They wouldn't do Secret satanic rituals. By the time a man is a 33 degree Mason he is bent over and got on his knees as a man he's a full secret closet homosexual. Look at the Shriners wearing wigs makeup nail polish riding around in little cars acting like gay goofballs. Even the Shriners admit their the party animals. You can CZcams Mason's Shriners pedophilia it's as bad as one can imagine. Satanism and homosexuality go hand-in-hand. The Masonic Lodge will never tell you this they have a dog in the fight they're trying to sell you Masonry. Masons are like used car salesmen they can not tell the truth. And you will pay Lodge dues as long as you're a nice person. you must have good credit to join. and by the time you're 33 degree Mason you will be paying a few thousand dollars a year. A lifetime of masonry you will have wasted several thousands of dollars and alot of time. do you really want to sell your soul to the devil?

      That said, you may be a fantastic person in all respects. Great. You should also realise that, yes, men can achieve their best without being Freemasons. However, some men prefer to go down the Fraternity route. We are all different, we are not robots! Some men thrive in an atmosphere of brotherhood and fraternity...they love to go about things in a "Masonic" manner. Men who are typical of this tend to have served in the armed forces, or the police force.
