Took about 15 minutes to decide to go fishing at a creek 45 minutes from my house. Found a spot loaded with redbreast and bass. The crappie magnet on 1/32 oz jighead was non stop action.

Bro, love your channel. Do a lot of creek fishing in West Virginia and learn from you. Trout magnet for bluegill on ultra light brings a smile to my face every time. Gonna have to try the crappie magnet.

Once the water gets warm enough, I enjoy using an ultra light weightless soft plastic that I carefully twitch on the surface, causing bluegills, redbreasts, crappie, and pumpkinseeds to come up and smack it.

Did some UL fishing yesterday after work. I Had a surprising catch with a bluegill. It had a large hook sticking out of the meaty part of its tail. Looks like it had previously been used as bait for lager fish and broke off. With the hook still in it, it had the power to go after my roster tail. I Removed the hook and set him on his way.
thats crazy, and i get all kinds of complaints about hurting the fish. Fish are pretty tough

You should try the lightning shad 2" inch lure. Those work so good in any lake, creek and pond. Crappie, bass, and panfish loves them. I even caught a baby walleye with it.

I tied on a crappie magnet this weekend after doing some stocked trout fishing with power bait on a local lake. Started waking the bank picking off small to midsize bass and pan fish. Guess the stocked trout season is over and its time to get back to bass.

Good video. I can't tell you how many times I've left every form of ruler I have either at how, or in the truck, or at camp. But I always have a dollar bill, or a five or a ten with me. I imagine just about everyone already knows this, but money is six inches lone, so fold it in half and the crease is three inches. Fold it in thirds and you get two inches. Fold that in half and you get one inch.
Know the lengt helps if you want to keep fish that have a minimum size, and helps with my records. The smart thing is to make sure you have a ruler, but I seem to forget mine half the time. I just bought a new Rough Rider pocketknife, and the blade is long and slender, good for fillets. The second "blade" has an edge meant to scale fishg, has a hook disgorger on the end, and has inch markings. It's a beautiful knife with bone handles and brass linings, but only cost twelve bucks. It's now my every day carry pocketknife, so maybe I'll be able to measure fish this year, even if I have no money with me.
Many don't know it, but someone told me that Rough Rider is owned by Tennessee Knife Works, and they insist on low prices and high quality. They sure get it with Rough Rider. Anyway, I owned such a knife way back when I was a teen, and it was incredibly handy. But that one was an off brand and didn't last very long. I've found Rough Rider knives to be very high quality, and so far, I love this knife. It's just as handy now as the other one was fifty years ago./
I just checked and the price has gone up about a dollar since I bo8ught mine, but it's still a great bargain. If you're interested, just type "Rough Rider Fish Knife" into Amazon search. But don't pay more than fourteen dollars, tops. There are a lot of fake prices on Amazon, especially with items such as this.

Do you like the size of the crappie magnet or trout magnet the best? I am almost out of trout magnets and I may just pick up some crappie magnets to try with the trout magnet jig heads.
its close, i like using the 1/32 oz jighead for a little further casting and the hook is a size bigger

hmm, thats a tough one. the hook is alittle bigger on the crappie magnet so its a little better at hooking bigger fish
