    With the water being down, it helps make that spot much better. Always enjoy fishing the confluence of Mouse Creek and the Hiwasse River. I just never eat anything caught downstream of Bowater or Olin. We used to catch those hybrid stripe on the upper Hiwasse just downstream of where hwy 411 crosses it. Know a friend that used to night fish around hwy 411 on the Hiwasse and he was always talking about the really big stripe eating those trout. He used to harvest some of those stripe and check their guts and see how many trout were in them.

    You caught a load of bluegills and finally a nice white bass? Regarding you new lens cap... works well but there was a little rainbow-glare but that was probably due to the plastic cover you removed at the end of video. Looking forward to seeing you use it again when fishing.. should make for some awesome videos! Blessings! 👍

    If you are fishing South Mouse creek then those are more than likely threadfin shad. I used to use a cast net this time of the year to catch them there and use them for bait in the mouth of the creek. Everything attacks them. Good luck.

    I know exactly where you were fishing, it's a great spot to load up on small bluegill if you're going to go catfishing... They're never in short supply, they just don't seem to have any size to them up there. Nice white bass at the end. Keep on doing what you do, tight lines, and God bless

  • @walte99
    @walte99 Před 4 lety +1

    The rainbow effect went away after you took the protective film off. There were a couple of shots where you turned towards the sun. Polarizing filters won't work that kind of miracle but colors, especially blues, will be more vivid and it was easier to see into the water after you put it on.

    Another great day of fishing. I like it that you keep all kinds of different poles on stand by cause like you say you never know what your going to run into when your out fishing, I mean like in this video you was fishing for bass but started seeing other fish like the pan fish were hitting better so what did you do just go to the truck and grabed the ultra lights and then it was game on. I tried to do that to cause it better to have it then to not and get all mad cause you didnt bring it lol. But sir thats why I like your channel so so much cause your not fake you go out and fish and no matter if you have a great day or just a ok day or the worse day of fishing you make a video out of it and I like that cause no matter how the fishing went I learn something in them all. Like on bad day you know you talk about what may have cause the fish to not bite from if it was the bait or the weather or the lake or how clear or dirty the water was you try and let us know and that means alot to some of us I know it helps me out a whole lot. But I'll stop writing know heck im sorry so long sir but i just wanted to say thanks and appreciate all you do and tell you to keep up the great job and never give up thanks and God Bless.

    When the gulls start acting like that, it usually means a school of shad has been driven to the surface, usually by fish with lines on them like that white bass. It might have been a white bass on every cast if you had gone over there.
