Rather than using the remote, would using the intervalometer been easier. More shots than you'd need but it would catch the right shot.

I have tried that, but it seems with Sony, that the camera locks focus on the first image rather than focuses each image which for me isn't ideal as I won't be in the photo when I set it up. On my Nikon you could set it to focus each shot which was ideal, but have not found that with the A7iv, unless I have missed something...

Hate photography videos where there's a dog involved. Dogs ruin and distract front the photography.
